Still no gapless? Can you guys send some kind of notification when it is finally implemented so I can subscribe again?
Queue button does nothing when playing mix. Is this by design? I’d love to see what’s next and what was playing few minutes ago.I’m using desktop app 5.0.0.
Version 5.0.0 poorly tested. Preferences or account settings page sometimes does not show up, depending on the current view. Back and forward buttons have no history whatsoever - you can sometimes go back one step and that’s all. I’d like to freely explore playlists and browse other albums while listening to something, lack of history is really detrimental here.
Deezer on Windows no longer respects output device setting.I have the app set up to play through my hi-fi, and not the default system output. It worked fine until recently. Now as I launch Deezer app it plays the first song through the default output, not the selected one. After I skip the track it goes back to normal, but it is annoying new bug. This is related either to recent Deezer updates or Windows 21H1 update or both. Other apps still work fine, so I suspect Deezer.
Just wanted to give a thumbs up for a well implemented feature. The normalize audio setting is available from the main screen and takes effect instantly. This is good, I can turn it on for casual listening to mixes and quickly turn it off when listening to a complete album.
Please concentrate on fixing bugs before adding features.
Observation / feature request. Clearly, there is a sync between webpage and the PC app, because the browser shows what the app is playing. Let the user control the currently playing device from his phone app or browser like Spotify does it.
After using Deezer for Windows app for one day I see three recurring bugs: App consistently crashes after few hours of playback. Excessive memory consumption. 1GB for a simplistic music player is too much. Navigation in app more often doesn’t work than it does. This includes the back / forward buttons and links to artist, title, etc. Often a link does nothing. Usually after following a link the back button don’t work when I want to go back to previous view, when it does work, the forward button breaks and so on.
It’s been a year already. How’s the development going on desktop app?
Still no gapless after 2 years? Unbelievable. Every other streaming service supports it.
