A full week now without any Deezer SoundTouch service, Bose isn’t replying to any questions… As bad luck would have it, I assumed last week that Bose knew my Deezer annual subscription was expiring in a couple of days, so I immediately extended for another year. If I had known the truth, then I wouldn’t have done so.Deezer has been really good service-wise, but this is lasting too long without enough information. Bose’s service is really bad.We still don’t know whose fault this is - did Deezer or Bose forget about making sure the global security certificates were going to expire??? And more importantly no indication at all about how long the service is going to be down … frustrating and disappointing …
P.S. No connection to Deezer through SoundTouch now since last Thursday 30 September …
Communication with Bose is far worse than with Deezer. I’ve chatted with and tweeted at Bose but no one seems particularly concerned. At least Deezer replied with a nice email. We chose Deezer because of the connection with SoundTouch and have enjoyed the service now for more than a year.But my patience is wearing thin too - is the problem with Bose not keeping their servers up to date? Good that there’s at least now a sticky thread to follow. Bose seems to either not be aware of the problem or not to care based on their lack of response.
Just discovered that I have the very same problem… Simone promised on the Deezer support main site:“Your listening history is all the songs you’ve played with Deezer, (not like search history, which is everything you’ve looked for).Note: At the moment, you can only access your listening history through Deezer.com.”https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115004523129-Listening-history I can remember being able to access more, but now it’s limited to 40 … I can sometimes scroll down until about 75 but then suddenly all disappear and the page goes white. When I go through the same procedure again: desktop app or deezer.com: go to Favorites then More then listening history … all that’s there is 40.It’d be really great to have the full listening history again and then to be able to download just the titles as a list for our music archive. According to the great 2020 My Deezer Year summary, I heard 6962 songs - I’d love to just be able to see them again.P.S. I’m using the Mac desktop ap
It seems that Deezer do not support yearly subscriptions and a workaround is to purchase a Gift Card however these are only available for Premium and not HiFi. I thereby suggest: 1) A more flexible subscription model than per month e.g. 6 months and 1 year for any plans 2) Gift Card for HiFi or just generic gift cards that are not bound to a plan, instead when a gift card is redeemed the money are added to your account /Adam PLEASE PLEASE offer an annual plan for HiFi! Deezer please listen to what your customers want. We are currently on the three-month trial for HiFi and love Deezer. We’ll definitely become paying subscribers when our trial expires, but if Deezer isn’t offering an annual plan for HiFi, then we’ll downgrade to the Premium annual plan. It already seems that Deezer realizes HiFi is too expensive - otherwise you wouldn’t have reduced the monthly rate by 25%. Offer the same discount for annual HiFi (say €135) as you do for Premium and we’ll sign on now!
