Panasonic TV: Deezer App recent issues


Seit 4 Tagen wird die App auf dem Panasonic TV (Modell TX-55DXW604) nur noch minimiert in der linken oberen Ecke dargestellt und ist nur noch mit einem Maus Curser bedienbar. Habe die App bereits deinstalliert und neu installiert, das.problem bleibt allerdings bestehen. Die Software des TV ist auf dem aktuellen Stand.

Wo könnte das Problem liegen?

Okay, Panasonic support got back to me today they have referred the issue with the guys in Japan and hope to come up with a fix in the next software update.

Dear Deezer programmers!

For last month, Deezer app on Oled Panasonic 55GZ950E is not full screen any more. It is in left upper corner, cca 1/3 of the screen, the rest is white so I am not happy with possible burn in effect on the oled panel.

Also app is now controlled via cursor that I didn't saw since I have this TV, from November 2019. All other apps are working fine, look the same, they are all full screen. Please fix this bug asap.

I feel your pain, very frustrating as I use Deezer on my TV, I’ve been chasing Panasonic support on this for the past month, still they are looking into it with no solution yet!

This issue effects all Panasonic Smart TV’s. So I’m hoping a fix is found soon!

Hello, I contacted Panasonic support. Their first solution was to do a factory reset, which I did but it didn’t solve the problem.

After that, they further investigated and in their last mail they said, that the problem was not caused by Panasonic. They suggested it could be a Deezer server problem and suggested to contact Deezer… Hello, Deezer ;-)

Deezer werkt nog steeds niet op mijn panasonic tv

@country Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on the telly?

I know not everyone has Apple TV and an iPhone.

But if you do you can Airplay music from the Deezer app on the iPhone to the TV and it’s still lossless.

Same issue in Ireland with Deezer App.

Hello @sunders, very sorry to read that, the app is unfortunately not officially supported by Deezer anymore, and this seems to have happened after an update from Panasonic indeed. We're still asking our teams to look into it, but we cannot guarantee that we will come up with a fix. However our teams are working on a new TV app, we do not have a release date yet but we’ll announce it as soon as we know it.

Nope. Tempted but it’s a right hassle having to reconfigure the tv again. With so much hooked up to it and also all the apps etc. All other apps are fine.

working around it using Deezer on the phone or iPad and AirPlay.

would rather have app developers work out the issue first

might have to go back to another serc

Okay, thanks, to be honest, I don’t think a reset would resolve this issue as all other apps are working fine running the latest firmware no issues just Deezer. I’ve already got in touch with Pansonic support awaiting their response.
