DEEZER CATALOGUE - something is missing :mag_right:

We're really sorry to know the tracks you love isn't on Deezer. Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on our platform. We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed. 

Some of the reasons for this are: 

RIGHTS' HOLDERS :microphone:

If an artist has a large discography with different rights' holders controlling different albums you can sometimes find gaps in the catalogue - if a certain rights' holder hasn't yet agreed to allow the music they control to be streamed online.

TERRITORY :globe_with_meridians:

Streaming rights are also defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it. 

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? :weary:

We're constantly updating and re-negotiating our agreements with rights' holders and thousands of tracks are added to our catalogue every single week.

You can try a couple of things:

  • Add your MP3 collection to Deezer :calling:
  • Contact the artist via their social media channels and request for the tracks/albums to be added to Deezer, we take care of the rest :nerd:

Why Molotov`s albums Apocalypshit and Eternamiente are not on Deezer? They are great ones!

I listen now more happy hardcore.

I discovered on YouTube The World's Greatest - Hardcore album and it turns out it’s not available in my country FI on Deezer at least. I’d like to hear on Deezer as much greatest hardcore as possible.

Usually I stay away from hardcore compilations with pictures of women on the cover, since it's such a cliche thing and makes the whole album seem like it was thrown together in fifteen minutes. This is a decent release with some good, talented DJs and producers from some popular labels known to have a good reputation in hardcore. The unmixed CD is a bit strange inbetween two mixed CDs but if you like hardcore or are a beginner in hardcore you're going to hear some solid tracks on this.

Hello @Muhannad Al-Thballi If something doesn’t appear, it may be because agreements with artists, labels or right holders are still underway or have not been met. You can upload the song to your own mp3 section on Deezer and then you can add it to playlists. The step by step guide is here.

Hi @Anneywf please check the info above regarding missing songs or artists and if any track is not available in our catalog you can always add it to your library as an Mp3 :relaxed:

Hi all, it’s indeed not your job, but when we’re talking about artists beginning their careers or underground artists, I can tell you from my personal experience that support is always appreciated and showing them that they do have a potential audience on a service, whichever platform it is, is very encouraging. I’ve done it again not too long ago and the album I was looking for was uploaded, much to my enthusiasm and just by contacting the artist on social medias. We get from users hundreds of song requests a month, not only on Communities, and our teams cannot handle them all unfortunately.

Is it released officially? Many time bootlegs can not be released officially.

I see the albums produced by visible noise for bring me the horizon (suicide season,count your blessings, there is a hell) are no longer showing on their discography, I hope this isn't some kind of licencing issue, would really like to see the tracks back...

Hello again! Is it possible these things could be added to Deezer? :

  • LØREN and his songs 'NEED (ooo-eee)' and ‘EMPTY TRASH’
  • BEBE6 and their songs. They have quite a few songs so I’ll name one example, ‘Some Night (in Boracay)’
  • The rest of MAMAMOO's discography, like the albums ‘BLUE;s’ , ‘White Wind’ , ‘Red Moon’ , ‘Yellow Flower’ , and the songs like ‘Woo_hoo’ 
  • The rest of Solar's discography, like the EP ‘Solar Sensitivity Part 6’
  • The rest of Moonbyul's discography, like the songs ‘SELFISH’ and ‘Weird Day’
  • The rest of Hwasa's discography, like the song ‘TWIT’ and more..
  • The rest of Wheein's discography, like the songs ‘EASY’ and ‘Goodbye’

I still find it quite strange that MAMAMOO, Wheein, Solar, Moonbyul and Hwasa have songs and albums with up to 300 Million views on YouTube yet those songs and albums aren’t on Deezer when they are on Spotify, Apple Music, etc...

Hi there,
There are some kpop artist’s older music missing from Deezer including:
“Monsta X” (everything pre 2018)
“Seventeen” (everything pre 2019)
“IU” (“Love poem” is missing, you have the single but not the album)

There are probably more missing but these are the ones I noticed. I would love to have these in the app itself, currently going through the process of getting the mp3s and importing them but it is quite the hassle, especially with Seventeen since a massive amount of their discography is missing.

Hello Deezer Support Team,

I know deezer have one of the best catalogues of electronic music than other streaming services, however, ive been waiting a few years ago, for an old song that unfortunately i cant find it in your app… The name song is (JAGUAR - SEBASTIEN LEGER) is sad becouse is a classic. Please if you can add that missing song will be great for lot of people.
