Great app. But as an artist, I wish Deezer could give us access to insights so we can track down how many people stream which songs, where they're located and such.

Ok so Im trying to get access to Deezer Backstage so I can keep my profile updated and get a view at my analytics so I can see and better plan to market myself on the platform.

 

When I try and seek access, the request access form is asking me a bunch of mandatory information that I have multiple answers to.

 

Your label …. Im an artist not a label and I release on many different labels. Do I just pick any of them ? Your distributor …. likewise different labels use different distributors.

 

I have to say having Spotify for artists, Amazon music for artists and an Apple artist account, this way of getting access is by far the most difficult I have experienced. Appreciate it is a new service but hopefully this access element will be improved in future.

Hi @Dict8 Please request access to our new Backstage for artists platform here :dvd: Then you can update your artist profile yourself :wink:

And if it's your first time using it, all you have to do is click on the button 'request access' and follow the steps :musical_note:

Please bear in mind that the access request can take up to 20 days because there is a huge backlog. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks for your patience 

I have my music posted on Deezer through distrokid but have no clue how to access the account and change profile image. help?

I'm sorry, but I have a second question. One of my songs "We hymn thee" /artist Velislav Velev/ was successful in Deezer for about a month. Yesterday it unexpectedly disappeared and is not accessible to listeners. I have not ordered Distrokid to be downloaded and I have no explanation why it is missing.

Hey @Rudi, just to say that yesterday myself and most of my colleagues from the facebook group got the access for backstage validated. We are very happy and find the tool very useful. Please request access to our new Backstage for artists platform hereclick on the button 'request access' and make sure you include enough evidence :wink:  After having done that it can take up to 20 days to get access. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks for your patience.

The profile picture has been uploaded, but it might look better if you adjust the size and send us another version (that's just my opinion, feel free to let me know what you think). The recommended format is: 500x500px minimum | 3MB maximum | jpg, jpeg, png

Hi @Rudi, most of the artists from our group have the same questions: how to setup their artist page, how to monitor their performance on Deezer, how to share their music and playlists with their fans, whether there is a way to submit new or upcoming releases to editors, etc... Also Deezer’s user centric model is a hot topic and we would like to know more about it. I’ve shared already some links to the community, where I found similar questions that have been already answered. But I will also encourage them to actively use the community!
