Unable to view downloaded music

Deezer android 7.0.3.1, unable to view downloaded music page when offline (the whole point of downloading). It keeps saying unable to load page.

This is really frustrating!

Sorry, but this should have been fixed  by now. Poor customer service. Time to leave deezer.

we are so sorry about this and we are acting on finding a fix as soon as possible!

Hi Yula, do you think it might be an idea to apologise for this?  Maybe send a mail to all deezer users rather than wait for them to search for the solution themselves.  I find this really annoying and will start looking for alternative streaming solutions, seems there are a few offering lossless these days.

Does reinstalling the app deletes all the offline music that has been downloaded before ?

Same for me. If deezer doesn't work in offline mode and doesn't work in online mode with a bad data connection then it's no use to me. Can someone from deezer please confirm and ideally tell us when this will be fixed?  Thanks, Paul

Same issue here. Re-Installing and re-downloading isn't an option for some people on limited data plans.

 

This needs to be fixed.

I’m on Android 12 (up to date) and my Deezer is in version 7.0.2.75 (says “updated : Apr 15, 2022” on the Google Playstore), and in the past few days, when i go to “favorites” : “downloaded music”, i just get this “unable to load page” message (and hitting “retry” doesn’t solve the problem), which makes it impossible for me to use this section (downloaded music), which i use a lot usually.

Please help

@Deezer Team : considering the last comments posted here by various users, it seems obvious that your last update broke this feature.
We as users shouldn’t have to do nonsensical things such as uninstalling the app, and downloading our offline catalogue again, just because your developers broke a feature.

Please fix this ASAP, this is getting ridiculous.

Hey there @Andreko

restarting the app is not enough. 

You have to uninstall, reinstall and download the music again. 

Let me know how it goes :) 

Cannot view page with downloaded music on my Android phone and restarting the phone or the app does not solve the problem. This is a recent issue with Deezer.

Same here and really frustrating as use all the time and main reason for Deezer. If I have to download everything again I'm done with Deezer

The only thing that worked was reinstalling the app which means I've lost all my downloads. Frankly, I can't be bothered downloading it all again so my family subscription is done. I've had enough.

I can view but shuffle play no longer works. And Something with downloaded tracks was borked through a recent upgrade...

Seems to have occurred after a recent update on the phone app. Not sure if this is the reason but too much of a coincidence?

Same problem here. Have restarted my phone, logged out, logged back in etc... No joy. The really frustrating thing is that uninstalling and then reinstalling the app means downloading all the music AGAIN! But it looks like that's the only other option. If that's what i have to do my subscription is done. Too glitchy for my liking

Having the same problem. Logged out and in again. Rebooted phone. No change. Really frustrating.

I’ve got the same - version 7.0.2.75.

Logged in and back out, also restarted phone - no change.

Albums show up fine, as do playlists, so easy to play, just annoying.

@dee_dirk i did, but I'm not sure if the current version is beta or release version (the about page doesn't mention beta on this one. Hence thought I'd report here as well.

I just saw that you are using the beta version. Have you already reported the issue as beta feedback within the app?

@dee_dirk nope, no sd card slot on this phone is (s21U).
