The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
I've reported this problem to Support for almost as long as the change to the UI of the playlist editing function has been in place. Historically, tracks had checkboxes beside them which made it easy to select multiple tracks to delete at once. After the UI was updated, tracks were able to be deleted by swiping them to the left or the right. In theory, this sounds easy enough. However, depending on the size of a playlist, swiping tracks to delete them or changing their position in the playlist can cause the app to lag severely or crash. When the app crashes, a notification explaining that the app is not responding appears but it can always be dismissed and the app used as normal for a few seconds until the notification appears again. If an app crashes then it should just crash. It should not be able to be used for as long as the notification that the app is not responding can be dismissed. The only way to resolve this problem is to force stop the app. Related to this problem is how lo
Since April 05, I've consistently received "No items to display" whenever I've searched for any new releases from record labels that I follow. Oddly, this happened only on Wednesdays and search results for them would begin appearing from around 01:00 or 02:00 the following day. However, it's been almost a week and the same problem has persisted. I've seen someone post something similar a few months ago and a member of the Deezer team couldn't find a problem when they tried to replicate it. Unfortunately, that response is not good enough and one that I've received every time that I've reported a problem. It's bizarre that users report so many problems yet Deezer support can never replicate them and resort to telling users to either check their network connection or uninstall then reinstall the app. Even when I've sent screenshots and screen recordings of the problem happening, Deezer support will still reply with a generic email that provides basic troubleshooting steps. When I've asked
Over the last few weeks, it has become increasingly difficult to differentiate the different versions of tracks within releases from within this time. For example, a release may contain the extended mix or remixes alongside the radio edit or original. However, whereas each of the versions aside from the original would define the mix such as '(Extended Mix)', '(artist Extended Edit)', '(artist Remix)', all of the versions of tracks are now listed as the track title only. Deezer Support have said that they only receive tracks from distributors or record labels so there is nothing they can do. Meanwhile, all other platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Napster, Pandora and others do not have this same problem. Is there anything that can be done?
