Related issue, I presume: my new release playlist “updated every Friday” didn’t update last week or today 😥
As far as I can see (briefly and from my cache) it's very much still there… just wish I could still access it to stream online?! :(
I'm afraid there isn't with YouTube either, but at least it includes YouTube and music. If deezer offered the annual family discount (as Amazon does for instance) I'd quite likely come back 🤔😉
Any update or ETA on this? I've just switched to YouTube music which isn't as good as deezer in many ways but includes some nice features Deezer doesn't… along with YouTube premium. Thanks.
Couldn't agree more about better use of tags. So many ways this would improve the app and user experience. Meantime, how on earth are the Deezer supplied tags supposed to be used or help us?!??
Simple solution surely, one word: tags! :) Seriously, can't believe no music app has done this yet - especially Deezer that seems to have tags, but TBH I really can't see how they're supposed to be used?!
Update: just had a quick look and you can add tags to albums, but they're not private - so if you want to look at albums you've tagged, you see any album others have tagged with the same tag :(
Thanks bluezzbastardzz . Had a LFM account since Audioscrobbler and never thought of that. Be great if there was an easy way to integrate with Deezer, but will definitely check out. Can you tag albums or just tracks? Thanks :)
Just like to echo comments from so many others here. I hit the 1K mobile album limit first, so removed load of favourites to get around this. I've now hit the 2K album limit on desktop (again with no notification, so added albums only to realise later they were lost/not on my list). Note: I currently favourite new albums that I want to listen to/check out later. Aside from increasing the limit (surely this should be unlimited, as is just like a bookmark?), for me a nicer solution would be custom tags. This way I could simply tag albums I want to check out or listen to later and find them easily without any need for a list. This way I could actually use the favourite album list for what this phrase would suggest, i.e. albums I love and will often want to come back to. Same time, could use tags to quick ID / find track or albums, e.g. quiet, 80s, acoustic, guitar, female vocal and so on - and then be able to combine these as you can with the default (random?!) tags, e.g. 80s fem
I agree, it will be better to see all of its favorites track. I'm trying Deezer because of this limit on Spotify. But the support tell me that even if we reach the 2k limit, the new favorite track are taken in account by Flow and other mix, whereas on Spotify you have to remove your song from your library. On Deezer they remain on your library but you can't see them. I hope I'm right
Just discovered this whole issue - although for me it's more about favourite albums. Anyway, aside from the points made above - what on earth is the point/how do they 'remain in your library' if you can't see them??? Just madness. You'd think after all these years services like Spotify and Deezer would have got a better grip on the real user experience and needs. (Another of my pet peeves is how 'new releases' often doesn't seem able to filter real albums from singles - albeit worse on Spotify.) PS I was another Spotify user that moved to Deezer when I hit the incompr
