Adding a screenshot of the results so the wayback machine can save it, in case Deezer decides to delete the thread (again).
This was the URL for the user poll that Deezer’s staff deleted:https://en.deezercommunity.com/features-feedback-44/opinions-about-the-new-visual-identity-of-deezer-77734 The wayback machine archived it on November 10th, when it was still activehttps://web.archive.org/web/20231110071026/https://en.deezercommunity.com/features-feedback-44/opinions-about-the-new-visual-identity-of-deezer-77734They also silently edited the text in one of my comments, and I suspect they will edit or delete this comment as well. I have just saved this thread on archive.org, so we’ll be able to see what they change.
I've returned to piracy and am using Jellyfin on my home server. As a musician, I know exactly how much each stream pays. I will donate directly to the musicians I love. Check out link! I am using it with my Emby server since the deezer redesign and it’s the best music app I have ever used. On desktop I’m using link which is very bare-bones, but it does work.
I have cancelled my subscription as a result of the redesign.I left Spotify when they started shoving podcasts down my throat ( I don’t use my music app for podcasts, period) and making random UI changes for no reason. I tried Qobuz and Tidal for a month each before landing on Deezer, which was reliable enough and had an excellent UI.Deezer has overall been buggier, slower, and less stable than Spotify. I have reported these bugs over the past year, no improvements have been made. However, I stayed because of the sane and reasonable UI. Just leave me alone and let me listen to my music. Now Deezer has the worst UI of all the music streaming apps, some small features have been removed, and all of the bugs that have been annoying me all year are still there. It’s unfortunate that developer time was designated to such a pointless endeavor instead of fixing actual technical problems.Deezer, I vote with my wallet. I had already cancelled to send a message, your condescending and dismissive
I’ve had the same issue all year. I got this reply from support in July:Our developers are still working on fixing the equalizer function on Android. I will get back to you as soon as it is fixed. So Deezer knows about the issue, and has decided the more pressing issue was to change the logo to a heart and give the app the Fortnite font and delete some features.@Jaime. can YOU send US a video of the equalizer working properly in Android after skipping to the next song? Make sure the video contains sound, so we can hear that the equalizer is actually working.
