The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
@Rudi Would personally like to debug with a dev if possible. I really like this app, and want to keep using it, but this bug is really frustrating. Faster they can collect data/logs on the playback error the faster this bug will be patched.
@Rudi confirmed still happening on 4.27.0
@Rudi I have two of the same exact laptop (one for work, one for personal), happens on both.
@Rudi Sorry I thought I replied before but I guess I never submitted. To be clear (because the title of this forum is a bit different from what I’m experiencing), the app doesn’t neccesarily freeze. It is more or less a buffering issue of the track that starts to play. Within the first second, you hear milliseconds of the track play, playback stops, track buffers, and then continues to play without any buffering. Again, this only happens when using high-fidelity, not best or any other quality. I only started using deezer within the last month, and 4.25 was already the latest to download. I’m running macOS Mojave 10.14.6. For giggles, last week I did try uninstalling Deezer completely and re-download 4.25, same issue. Today, I saw 4.26 got released. Same issue continues to occur, as figured. I’m testing this by playing a playlist, and playing tracks just for the first 5 seconds and hitting next. Today, after downloading 4.26, the very first track that played had this occur. Continued to
@Rudi macOS Mojave 10.14.6Deezer Version 4.25.0 (4.25.0.129)Playlist: https://deezer.page.link/btJzEXazmv4EDjCz5First track I played today using High Fidelity had the issue.https://deezer.page.link/6di9vURQLvcfPeE79 I’ve tried foing a full uninstall and trying 4.25, same thing. FWIW, I only started using Deezer recently (within last two weeks), and the very first version of the app I downloaded was the same I’m using now, 4.25.0 (4.25.0.129).
@Rudi The issue happens intermittently when playing at “High Fidelity” lossless quality. I’m casually just listening to playlists and it will happen sporadically when playing down the list. When I switch back to “Better” 320kbps it doesn’t happen. It’s not user error, something is causing playback failure when using “High Fidelity”.
@Rudi , Same issue here continues on macOS Version 4.25.0 (4.25.0.129), which according to the app is the latest.
