The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
When attempting to play a song that I added, I get this message. This is happening when i try to play it in the Desktop browser, in the phone app it is ok. This is happening to me also about 20 times a day in the windows app (I have downloaded the latest version form the windows app store - version is 5.50.510 - but it made no difference). It’s actually making me thing seriously about moving to Spotify…
On desktop this has been a terrible upgrade for me. Using 4.25.0 on Windows 10. I have 8 different flow options. Each option plays me the same list of tunes. None of these tunes are anything like any music I normally listen to. Flow was never perfect, but was a huge amount better before this upgrade. I have the same experience - in fact each new “Flow” on desktop now plays the standard (rubbish) playlist that is available by default when starting up Deezer, i.e. it is not a Flow at all. I’m sure this is just a bug that will be fixed soon, right? My desktop application version is 5.30.160. I just updated to 5.30.180 - and it seems to be working OK now. (Though it didn’t prompt me to update. I had to go to the MS store and manually update to the newest version).

My audio quality is ‘Better 320kb/s’. It sounds a lot better to me with ‘Equalise volume’ turned off.
I’m using Deezer 4.17.1 on Windows 10. There is an ‘Equalise volume’ toggle switch in the audio menu under the audio options.I think this is what they are referring to?I can find no further info out about it at all.But it was turned on as default for me, and when I turned it off the sound quality was *much* better for me. If you are using the Windows app I strongly recommend turning off ‘Equalise volume’.
