Hello, today I decided to switch to Deezer as the service is much better than it's famous competitor.

As it comes for free with my mobile plan, and the quality is actually much better. I am really enjoying it so far.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed to find out that only Google's platform, and the famous competitor one are supported in Google assistant.

From what I've read, this has been an issue for many years, I know how hard it is to communicate with enormous corporations like Google, but Deezer is no small company as well.

I would really like to see this getting changed soon, as I would really hate it to have to go back to the competitor company.

Please expand to New Zealand too!

Yes please, this would be very much appreciated.

Please expand to New Zealand too!

Same thing for Ireland @John Brackin in fact, before we put this on pause, Ireland and The Netherlands were top priority.

Once we're able to get close to Google on this again, I'm confident Deezer will keep this priority list.

It might take quite some time @raphael_cohen but if we need testers, I'll let you know :thumbsup_tone2:

Also based in Ireland and just realising now that Deezer won't work on my 15 Google home devices! 😭

I’m from Belgium and use Deezer from the beginning in 2008. I use Amazon’s ALEXA to play music on my Sonos system. This works without problems!! It’s Google that develops tooooooo slow.

Hello

Same in Mauritius, where you get a Deezer plan included in your mobile data plan, but Google Nest can't play on Deezer...

Best

Tibo

@Yula  and @Rudi A very loyal Deezer user from the Netherlands. I've tried Spotify, but it doesn't even come close to Deezer. Deezer also come with my T-Mobile plan, so it's pretty much mandatory (which I don't mind). But it's been over more than an year that plans were made to put The Netherlands and Denmark on the High priority list. When will it be available on Google Home? It would be a shame to lose all those Dutch users.

Please respond.

Hi @Yula  and @Rudi ,

I’m writing to you guys from the lovely country of Romania, I took the time to carefully read all the comments before me as well as the responses.

First, this is not a 1-year problem, it’s been at last 6 years since I’m waiting for Deezer to become available in my region. As a client of both Google, I have my house full of their nice devices, and a client of Deezer for at least 10 years, I’m not actually interested of what side of the partnership is not working out or what kind of corporate deal cannot be agreed upon between your $1.4bn valued employer and Google for the last 7 years

Since you guys seam to be having trouble reaching out to Google on this matter, I went ahead and bought  https://bringdeezertonest.com, and I’m going to help you out by creating some media traction as well as I’m pretty sure Google is breaking some antitrust laws here in Europe if what you imply is correct since they have a competing service and all.

Have a lovely week.

+1 for having Deezer working with Google in Brazil.

Nest says Deezer is not available in my country.

Home doesn't recognize it as an integrated service.

Assistant and Android Auto can't do anything but start my flow, which sucks when searching for songs or artists while driving.

I asked for Swedish connection 2019 and still no support for Google Home default music app. Extremely slow progress…

canceled my premium account in the beginning of this year and signed up for Spotify. Works perfect but I miss Deezer.

Any new roadmap, is there any plan for Sweden ???

Hey there, unfortunatly Sweden is still not on the list of the country where Deezer is available on Google Nest. I am sorry about this, for now I can not give you any ETA but know that we are working to be in more countries!

Thanks for the feedback @The Witchfinder, you'll see from the community topics around this subject that this isn't a decision made by Deezer.

I am here in Belgium (but from the U.S.) and just like the others, no Deezer with Google Home as well. Shame though as I just signed up for an account but since this is a no go, sadly, will be cancelling. I do not understand why it takes month upon months to get this resolved. Oh well, signing up for Spotify I guess is my only solution now, pity:(

You know @Christopher.Denizard I totally agree with you and I've been pushing for this internally as well, to see if we can move up some mountains in the next few months - it'd be great for you Deezer users!

I also have family in Brazil with a sleeping Google Nest because they can't support the company I work for due to this. If Google plays nice then we can definitely grab the opportunity  we need to be in more countries!

Good morning,

Thanks to Telecom Italia Mobile and Deezer, Deezer has lots of users here in Brazil. I believe that due to this fact, it should be top priority to the company. A cannot integrate Deezer with Google Home at this time, and I must use Youtube Music in my theatre. I would like to use Deezer there, I hope you manage to integrate this as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Thanks for the support @bluefoam

You've got a fair point. And I'll be sharing your feedback with our Partnerships teams :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi Deezer, I am a returning subscriber... I had defected to YouTube Music for the ad free video playback, but their music service does not match up to yours. Deezer algorithms just seem to get me (so far).

I had Google integration when I lived in the Middle East, but now back in Ireland it feels like a retrograde step... Please get this sorted. I'm still paying for YT because of the ads in videos, but want to support Deezer. Please fix it...

I totally agree with you @SamM21 and your feedback will be a nice addition to the discussion, thank you! :relaxed:

Such a shame for us too @Gabriel.S we'd love to have joined, stay tuned in 2021! :pray_tone2:

We’re waiting for great news then in RO too. Integration with Google Home would be a big plus for Deezer in order to get more customers. In my opinion you’re better than “other” similar and over-rated services :)

Even in Puerto Rico, which is a US territory, where both Deezer and Google reside, the option is not available. Thats why I'll be cancelling my Deezer trial period after it ends.

Sorry to hear that.

Please stay for a while as Deezer will only improve this year.

I really want to use the in The Netherlands too.

Thanks for adding your opinion to the discussion @Jens684 I've spoken to you on another topic too.

We actually have great plans for our Sonos integration, including work which is being done right now as we speak. Stay tuned!

Posting here to get in the loop. It is great that the Netherlands are next on the list, but this should be solved worldwide asap. I quit YouTube Music for Deezer, but there are too many annoyances.

I did notice another workaround. I also have Sonos with Deezer installed. I can ask the assistant to play music via Deezer and it actually works. When you go into the Google Home settings you can choose a default speaker for music and set it to a Sonos device. (You’ll need to have Sonos added to Google Home as well.

A VPN is what you mean @Kurt0565 and yes, I'll pass your feedback on to our teams!

In the meantime, you can cast from your phone to your Nest - even in HiFi! :relaxed:
