Our Lyrics feature is one of our favorites, but we know we can make it better. We've had good suggestions in our ideas forum but we need more of your opinion to take another step in order to improve this so popular feature. 
For this reason, we'd like to invite you to post your feedback here, in one place - so that our product managers and developers can see what we're missing out!

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, it’s a very interesting one. We need to improve a few important bits on our desktop app first before we can improve the lyrics feature. But it’s a very cool idea, a bit like a screensaver, right? I think this is something our teams will definitely look into when working on enhancements for the feature 
The sync is horrible in the android app, just unusable for me, in all the songs I have tried, just no point to keep using it if it doesn't work.
I don't like the lyrics feature. It's poorly implemented.
I rather use MusixMatch and I'm gladly paying for it's premium membership. Why? Because it's lyrics implementation still allows me to use the progressbar of a track, and still be able to tap and move to any part of the track. Even if MusixMatch is missing lots of lyrics, I prefer it over the integrated feature.
I wish deezer would remake the lyrics feature in the same way, that MusixMatch has done it.
There is a lot of users from Balkan that use Deezer and a lot of them would like to have lyrics to Balkan songs. I would also be very happy if you do not have anyone that speak our languages to write these lyrics.
Why do only some songs have animated lyrics?

I love the Lyrics feature. I do wish the words were bigger on my iPhone. Can they be linked to the ios which has font size settings? Cheers

I agree with you all but I must confess I haven't tried MusixMatch yet!
Nevertheless, it's for our devs to decide on what to improve, that's why we created this thread. I'll be forwarding your suggestions right now. Hopefully improving performance and choosing the lyrics font size is something we can tackle as a quick win 
Please increase the pressure on the partner who provides you with the lyrics! Too many songs have no lyrics at all and many many more songs do not have live lyrics! What to do with such a feature as the lyrics when it is not present in the application! consider changing lyrics provider and moving to musixmatch!

This is how MusixMatch implementation of Lyrics look like: Imgur
This implementation of the lyrics feature allows me to still be able to use the player, and tap anywhere in the progressbar, etc. The lyrics don't show a second screen as Deezer does, instead it just covers the title cover with the lyrics, but leaves alone the player navigation.
By tapping the MM bubble or in the MM notification panel, the lyrics show up if they're available.
Unfortunately many lyrics are not available as they apparently need to be added & synchronized by the community (users)
There is also a translation feature, which doesn't work most of the time.
Following screenshot shows the german version of MM:

Rest assured they are improving this year Deezer features already in it, so I hope this too.

Hi,
I think the size of the font for the lyrics should default to the system font size.
And people should have the option in deezer's settings to set the font size to a different size for Deezer, or even just change it for the lyrics part, because it seems that it's fine for everyone on the rest of the app.
On my end, I always have the fojt pretty small (most of my friends find it too small but I can read perfectly and mostly on public transports it's harder for others to read)
When I open the lyrics part it's so big I feel like an old person who made the font bigger so that they can read when their phone is less than a meter away.
So defaulting to system size and allowing to change it in Deezer seems like the best way to implement it imo.

Many users asked for a long time for bigger lyrics size and we did so.
I’ll pass your feedback to the Lyrics team so they can consider to implement your suggestion :)
What about adding Airplay Video and Cast Video to lyrics so you can play them on the TV?
As I say this, I see in one song it is not tracking the lyrics in time with the song. Maybe if that’s a limitation of this song it should add a little note saying this song doesn’t support lyrics synchronisation so it doesn’t look like a bug.
I find it annoying to see the constant scrolling of lyrics when casting to my TV. I miss the option to disable this.

Hopefully font size of the lirycs can be managed by the user
I think we should be able to sync lyrics. Because sometimes the sync is really garbage. And it would be awesome to change fonts.
I would love to see synced lyrics like Amazon Music were instead of going to a separate screen, the synced lyrics pop up on the album cover so you'd be able to still see the track information with the album art being visible behind the lyrics.
