🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Deezer Premium/Family 🚨 (Update)
When I play my favourite tracks playlist, it always plays the same song. The first song I added. I have to start the playlist, then shuffle it, then go to the next track. This is particularly annoying on Android Auto, as there isn’t a clear way to descend into the playlist itself, presort it, and then play it. Not that doing that would be desirable, I’m busy piloting a four thousand pound land missile. The issue exists on Chrome as well. If I click into the playlist on Chrome, or even on Deezer mobile, the sort order is already set up to be by most recently added, as I would expect. The problem only exists if I try to play the playlist from anywhere that isn’t the playlist itself, such as from the home screen. For clarity, this play button on the home screen will always play the playlist in reverse order -- least recently added to most recently added: But if I click this listen button from within the playlist itself, it will play in the correct order: Here is the queue if I pl
Currently, a playlist is order from oldest-to-newest added track by default. Sorting a playlist by date added descending is only a visual change - the playlist order is not actually changing. Despite sorting a playlist by clicking the column headers, such as by “added”, which appears to save or otherwise persist on the playlist, when playing the playlist from an external source such as via Google Assistant, or by clicking the play button on the playlist’s tile on the home page, the playlist is always played in the “real” playlist order -- first added, first played. The expected behaviour would be to honor the stored sort order on the playlist. This only happens if you play the playlist using the “listen” button from inside the playlist itself. This really should be a global thing. As it stands my only course of action here is to manually reverse the order of my playlist, and each time I thumb up a song, manually push it to the top of the playlist. The playlist is 116 tracks long an
I don’t want to interrupt my current flow queue, but I want to check out a specific song. Why do I have to make the choice between these two things, especially in the face of the ability to reorder the flow queue? Seems like an asinine design choice.
