The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
I've reported this problem to Support for almost as long as the change to the UI of the playlist editing function has been in place. Historically, tracks had checkboxes beside them which made it easy to select multiple tracks to delete at once. After the UI was updated, tracks were able to be deleted by swiping them to the left or the right. In theory, this sounds easy enough. However, depending on the size of a playlist, swiping tracks to delete them or changing their position in the playlist can cause the app to lag severely or crash. When the app crashes, a notification explaining that the app is not responding appears but it can always be dismissed and the app used as normal for a few seconds until the notification appears again. If an app crashes then it should just crash. It should not be able to be used for as long as the notification that the app is not responding can be dismissed. The only way to resolve this problem is to force stop the app. Related to this problem is how lo
How interesting. Replies were so fast when false claims about this bug being fixed were being made. However, now that I've proved otherwise, there seems to not even be an acknowledgement. Perhaps I won't be purchasing an annual subscription on August 01 after all if a long-term user such as myself being treated this way is considered acceptable. Just like the support team have been told, do better.
Hey Yula. Is there any update on what's being done to resolve this bug? It seemed to be fixed very quickly for one album yet none of the others as claimed.
Here are the links to the albums. Most of these releases are from a small number of labels which may be useful to know. I know you mentioned that the bug has been fixed but the releases from the last two weeks ago aren't updating to display the correct IDs when refreshed like the others did. 😕
Thank you so much! 😍
Thanks, Yula! I've seen the album update itself. Unfortunately, this has happened on several other releases from a small number of record labels. Could this bug be fixed?
All of the music I listen to is released by digital labels. Recently I've seen Spinnin' Records update all of their releases to show original mixes without '(Original Mix)' in the track ID as well as add the featured artist in the track ID. I'm wondering why Deezer doesn't apply this to all tracks as it would make searching for a track a lot easier. 'ID (feat. Artist)' would allow users to search for tracks by a specific vocalist in a playlist which isn't possible for tracks without the (feat. Artist)' suffix at the moment. I've noticed other streaming services like Apple Music and Google Play Music use this format but unfortunately not Deezer.
