The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
Well, after some loggin out and in i got to a point where i could add artists to my flow using the yamaha musiccast app. Yet somehow i cannot get back to that screen to add more. also recently the ios update stated that things between devices would be synced but the receiver is not shown in my list of used devices so there is no syncing possible. there seems to not be any way to influence the dlow on my receiver.
Morning @PeterB-NL ! Thank you for that, but did you tried the equalizer? It’s usually for that. Anything else, please let me know. 🙂 Hi Johnathan,Thank you for the comment.EqualisersAs a matter of fact an equalizer is NOT intended to adjust sound volumes, just tonal presence. Most people use their equalisers - if they have one - wrongly. Remember the old WAVE patterns that equalisers had in the past ? All low end and High end tones up and towards the middle everything down ? This was to compensate ( wrongly ) for the lack of lows and highs in low volume settings which were due to the Bell Curve that made us hear those low and highs less at lower volume levels.LoudnessHence the “ discovery “ of the Loudness button, which corrected the Bell curve by adding up to +3 dB to the low and high frequencies. By adjusting the volume knob on the Amp the Loudness section was adjusted, Low volume = more loudness, higher volume = less loudness. Now in the digital age, there are various options to
This seems to me as such a basic functionality, so annoying.. The least you could do (or even a better option) - let the users themselves adjust the volume per track manually on their playlists. So if I have a playlist say with 20 songs, and 2 of them are playing too quietly, I could manually boost their volume to match the rest of the playlist Nice idea, yet the basic problem is that the recording is too low. When you apply - for example - a volume boost to the track of say 125% ( to make it 25% louder ) then you will also make the background noice 25% louder. It needs more then just a MP3 Gain type of trick.
I am a new member of Deezer. So far I am very please with it, and I think it is something to be grateful for, Big Time! However, it is shocking to discover that 'Loudness Normalization' is not integretad in Deezer Music streaming. As it is a fundamental element of playing a mixed of audio tracks, with diversified recording sound levels. 'Loudness normalization' was created to combat varying loudness when listening to multiple songs in a sequence. Before 'loudness normalization' is applied, one song in a playlist might be quieter than the rest, so the end listener has to adjust the playback volume. This is insane to have such a situation today -- How can any audio streaming service neglect such a basic need as Audio Normalization? HiI think what you want is volume normalisation, not loudness as loudness is a feature from the past that only boosted the low and highs of a track but not the volume. You want the volume to be consistent across all tracks but not maxed out like a radio stati
New→Not for now Sorry, don’t get this ? What does this mean ?
Hello @PeterB-NL, The only way to fix flow is to dislike songs, skip and listen to music that you love outside FLOW (Daily Mixes, playlists, albums etc...) The algorithm will eventually fix itself! HI Yula,Can’t be much of an algorithm if 1 day playing XMas Flow completely destroys everything I have “ fed it” before that. I have cancelled my subscription as it’s apparently not able to just play the songs I love.Thank you Peter
