The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
I also can’t find the desktop app from my phone. My PC is visible in the network from my phone, but it can’t find the desktop client. It recognizes the web version just fine. Also when connecting to browser, the currently playing track is restarted, is this intentional?Controlling the volume with volume keys can be jumpy at times. If I click the volume button multiple times it goes back to its original position (volume) or sometimes back and forth like it’s lagging behind. It also happens on the in-app sound control sometimes but not nearly as annoying as using the physical buttons for some reason. Also adding that I tried using this like I use other streaming services, let it play on my PC and went to bed. It seems that it loses connection as I use other apps on my phone.Deezer desktop app (Windows): 5.30.0iOS version: 14.6
Hi again,it seems that my previous navigation issues are resolved in 5.20.0, so thanks for that! I still have playback issues. This also happens back in 5.10.0 but I didn’t mention it because the navigation issues were more annoying and this one sounds a bit more complicated to fix.So what happens is, after a few tracks, the music will sometimes stutters/stopping for a few seconds/minutes. Or sometimes even stopping for good. I can try pausing/unpausing it for a temporary remedy but it will immediately stutter again. Another way is skipping to the next track and then clicks back to previous track, this will resolve the stuttering for the current track, but the next track or some tracks after it will have the same problem again.Sometimes it even throws error, although not always: I’ve already ruled out my connection since I’ve tested it with streaming something else and they run well. Also this doesn’t seem to happen on the mobile (iOS) app, only the desktop app.
Adding my vote to this idea. My use case for this is simply letting music play on my PC which has its own (better) speakers while being able to control it anywhere in my room. Usually I let streaming services play while I’m in bed (for example). Quite annoying having to keep getting up to control the app on PC.I like Deezer’s UI so far, probably even more than Spotify, I have no problems with playback and I even paid for Deezer HiFi, but usability-wise this is a core feature for me. Not sure what is being worked on/prioritized on the app right now, but it looks like this feature will still be sitting in the backlog for a while and I don’t see a plan to start implementing this in the near future from the comments, so I won’t be continuing my subscription after it ends. I’ll be keeping an eye if there’s an update for this.
Hi, I’m a new subscriber and I jumped right into Deezer Hifi but to be honest it really doesn’t make a good first impression right now due to how broken the navigation is on Windows 10. I’m on version 5.10.0. I noticed someone had the same problem I have right now before v5 but I still have these issues, and I’m on fresh install:weird navigation backstack history. navigating back sometimes does not go back to previous page, just scrolls in the same page. clicking a navigation target sometimes doesn’t do anything (e.g. clicking Playlists), I have to click some other link first then click “Playlists” again for it to actually load the page. going to Preferences sometimes just doesn’t work. I have to restart the app. (while on Deezer Free) after an ad plays, I can’t play anything. Play button does not respond for both music and podcast. I have to restart the app.
