If @Pia.Deezer wants to understand what @dreamt_bulldozer is saying, I think I can explain in different words. There should be a “view”-like option in the favourite tracks page that lets you see your albums or artists of favourited songs. The current and only “view” right now is songs. The “details” of the songs are the artist(s), album, length and when it was added. They aren’t the main thing. The song is. You can obviously sort but the main thing is still the song. You cannot switch to the playlists, albums, artists, etc tabs because those are completely different lists/collections/libraries. Just take a quick look at Windows Media Player. It may be deprecated but it’s still feature rich, just as iTunes and iPods are. Here’s a rough concept: You could even add song length and date added views. The song length would probably be full of 2 mins and 3 mins songs, but whatever. The date added view would be interesting. It could be a calendar with a year view timeline at the top so
Holy cow! I didn’t know the favourite track limit was only 2000 on Deezer. Spotify has 10 000 and Apple Music has 100 000. 2000 seems like something I’d reach rather quickly. interesting link: https://www.theverge.com/2017/5/26/15700768/spotify-music-saving-cap-time-to-stop
Wow, thanks again @raccoonsarecool I'll pass your comments, verbatim, directly to our desktop app teams here at Deezer. I especially like the comment you made about Google's Lighthouse. For a direct download link, you can check this topic here yeah Google’s Lighthouse is pretty detailed! They have performance and PWA audits :) Thanks for the direct download link!
Hi there! But we do have a button You just need to click on the 3 dots > Add playlist Yo @Rafael. @Yoelilev is suggesting that the button to add a song to a playlist be moved out of the 3 dot menu so it’s easier to access. If it’s a design issue, then tapping and holding on the favourite track button should open the add track to playlist menu. I would not remove the add to playlist menu item because even though there is a direct favourite track button, it is still there in the menu (which is good for users who don't know what the heart icon means). There is the issue of educating users but a simple balloon/tooltip (WinUI over on Windows 10 calls it TeachingTip) the first time a user opens the now playing screen would suffice! Here’s a link: https://medium.com/swlh/a-lightweight-tooltip-popup-for-android-ef9484a992d7 Deezer can grow a lot more when users share their playlists ;)
I decided to check out the Windows 10 Deezer app and when I went to download it, it directed me to the Microsoft Store. I thought “It might be a UWP app” but when I installed it I quickly noticed that it was just an Electron app. Opening the menu at the top left proved that it was Electron and so did the memory usage. First of all, no need to only have it in the Microsoft Store. There should be a link to a direct download too. Secondly, there’s no excuse for not having an official Linux client since you’re using Electron. There’s not much work involved. And so now that I know it’s an Electron app, I know that it’s probably not that much more different to the web player. Y’all should just make a “PWA” aka, create a shortcut to it from your browser. In Chrome/Chromium and Chromium based browsers, you can do this: Menu> More tools> Create shortcut…. and click on open as window and rename the title to just “Deezer” and then press Create! To be clear, you don’t get HiFi or offline
This is something that Spotify has that I wish Deezer had. I hope Deezer would one-up them too and also let you control it the way you can control WiFi in Windows 10. When you enable private listening it should default to automatically disable after 6 hours of inactivity (that’s what Spotify does) and there should be a dropdown to have 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour, and so on, as well as until manually turned off. Turn WiFi off in Windows 10 and you’ll get what I’m saying.
I was about to make a new post but then this was suggested! Almost made a duplicate. Title: Web player - add support for Media Session API Description: This means rich media notifications! Chrome for desktop also now has a global media controls button (an icon with a list and a music icon). When you provide metadata for the media, you get seeking and track changing, album art, titles, artists. Here are some relevant links: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/02/media-session https://googlechrome.github.io/samples/media-session/ https://w3c.github.io/mediasession/ https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Media_Session_API and it’s something that Deezer’s main competitor, Spotify, has support for in their web player. But Spotify has removed features from their web player and is kinda why I use Deezer. Spotify does let you make a private listening session though which is suggested here: https://en.deezercommunity.com/features-feedback-44/private-from-flow-session-
I hope PiP comes to the website/PWA too!

Voted! :D My comment has no relevancy to this so could you delete it please?
Edit: my title needs to be updated. Please change it to “Android - Move bios of artists into its own section like it is on desktop”
