Any update on this? Chromecast Shuffle and 'Play Next' functionality has been an issue for years - can you tell me whether this is being actively worked on?

Really wanna drop Spotify and come back to deezer but this is a deal breaker for me

This feature is an absolute must for deezer to continue being listed as an explicit Google home service in the Google home app.

I would expect nothing less than the same standards of any app with the prestige to be listed by name on the Google home app.

As a software development professional myself, I highly suggest both the severity and priority of these bugs are raised to show stopping status because customers will not buy a half supported product for their smart homes.

Hi, same problem here using Xiamoi with MIUI 10.3 and casting to Google Chromecast audio 3.

That's a dark outlook on what we can do with Google @MrHaroldA but I totally understand your frustration, you've got a point.

At the end of the day, the feedback reaches the teams working on improving the feature.

You need to set up your queue before you cast @Jens684 queuing once casting hasn't been developed yet.

You're very right @goodomens and that's why we've been working on a new integration for quite some time now. It won't be finished by the end of the year, but we've been told we're almost there! All we need is a bit more of your patience. Thank you for your understanding :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi there, unfortunately that is correct. It is not possible to use these two features on while using Chromecast. I am happy to pass it on to hopefully change this 😉

There are complaints about Deezer and Chromecast on this forum going back months. In addition to the above I also have constant app crashes when trying to use Chromecast, and random losing the stream. I really wanted to pick up a family plan here, but Deezer's lack of Chromecast support is absolutely shocking. Oh well, Spotify it is then.

Hi @Steve-K we are currently working on these issues. It would help us a lot if you can let us know which device you use to cast and which Chromecast device you have. The more technical information the better and I will pass it on. I can understand you being disappointed and we hope to welcome you back once we fixed it.
