What was the purpose of this brutal redesign? Antagonize the customers? Then you did well, but please give the option to turn back to the sane design. I will pay whatever amount of money. Please.

Bring back shuffle my music, album info, and the ability to swipe down.

That being said, I feel like the shuffle algorithm was adjusted and seems much better. If it weren't for this one factor, I would definitely jump ship.

If you are using the iOS beta version of Deezer, you should see a Shuffle icon now in the Favorites tab:

You may also check if the album info when swiping left on the album artwork is already back, not sure.

I just want to agree with some of the other users, real quick.

Deezer you are keeping your stupid heart icon? Personally I do not feel music when this icon is small or not animated, it is just a stupid heart!

This icon is so not professional at all! This heart and this purple color make me feel as it is a dating application as I said previously. I was listening deezer with my professional laptop, but now when I share my screen in a meeting I feel ashame when this icon appearsโ€ฆ Same feeling when notification appears on my phone or worst on the shared screen of my car!

Maybe Iโ€™m not anymore your marketing target, maybe you are only targeting teenagers lovers? But Iโ€™m the owner of my family account, and my teenagers will move with me!

Iโ€™m currently testing other streaming services, Tidal seems to be good for me. Soon you will loose one more family account!

Decided to check the progress with all this stuff. Deezer fierce defense led me to associating the new heart logo with a clown nose. You know when 60 yo pretends to be 16yo or something and doesn't cooperate with cops keeping door locked. Neighbors simply don't know what to do.

Just checked the French community. Deezer decided that no new comments were allowed in the corresponding French post โ€œ New Logo, explantionsโ€. Also in France a lot of people shared their feelings regarding the new identity. Probably not the feedback Deezer expected and wanted. So they shut it down. And they delete negative feedback in their English community. All together, very sad that it had to come this far.ย

Been a user for almost 10 years now. New update gives it a cheap feel in comparison to what it was before. I was horrified when it updated! My partner thought it was a dating app. I'd have to agree thats what the icon looks like. Plus the app colour scheme and designย  gives a circus kinda vibe.

Left this dumpster fire of a service back when they first raised prices to obscene levels, and I am SOOO glad to be proven right. Take the plunge, guys, both Apple Music and Tidal will work wonders for you AND they actually listen: Tidal tried to push a feature called "live sessions" right atop their homepage a few months back. The backlash had their freaking CEO do a live Reddit discussion, admit the friction was totally unnecessary and quickly take steps to allow users to disable it. You don't have to pay insane amounts of money to be trolled online by a multinational company, really. That's been done for free since the beggining of the Internet.

Hi,ย while I understand the rebranding (and am quite OK with it), itโ€™s a bit annoying that the app (espacially the desktop one) looks like a dating app : in a work environment I find it unprofessional to have the app in the taskbar ๐Ÿซค

Not sure if you guys agree with me but posts suggesting other platforms arenโ€™t really helping.

Helping to achieve what exactly? Deezer made clear, a couple of times, that they don't intend to switch the logo or design. Personally I am quite happy to know why people change to other platforms. And I'm also surprised that a certain platform gives me better recommendations. Well, they could learn a lot from the feedback we give, if they care.

Agree with the point of integration. I thought about buying an extra streamer for my sound system only for Deezer as it is not supported, but cancelled my subscription anyway now. Their recent changes do not seem to fit for the target group, us, you've mentioned. They could have just stuck with the old design and care about functionalities that have been requested for months and years.
