Hi,

I know this came up before but I wanted to know if there are any plans to change this. I have 8 Alexa devices and I want to be able to play different music on at least 3 of them at the same time. I know this can be done by creating multiple Alexa accounts but that is not really feasable with that many devices and it has some ugly side affects. So, is there any chance that this will change in the future?

Thx

Stephan

Hi Stephan,

First of all… greetings from Bielefeld to Telgte. 😎

We also have a german deezer community and you are welcome to post your issues also there.
https://de.deezercommunity.com

I was wondering about the problem you are talking about, because for me it works fine to start several deezer alexa streams on my Sonos Speakers. Imho it should work the same on Echos.
For each device i tell Alexa to play the selected music from Deezer. You can also ad the room name if the voice command is recognized by a different speaker.
For example i told Alexa to play music on deezer from Queen in the kitchen. Then intold her to play music on deezer from Norah Jones in the living room. And so on… this way Alexa played 4 different streams from deezer at the same time.

kind regards

Ralf

Thx Ralf for the quick response. I know about the German forum, but I thought I reach a larger user base here. 😀 Are all your Alexa devices on the same Amazon account? I tried this a while ago with deezer and it did not work. Spotify has the same issue but maybe something changed in the meantime…

@Stephan1827

Yes of course they all are on the same account. And yes, with Spotify this is an official limitation. But with Deezer it always worked for me on my Sonos Alexa devices in the past.
I suggest you give it a try.

@Superschlumpf Thank you for your help! 🙌🏼
