I Liked One Song, Not the Entire Artist!

I've run into a frustrating issue with Deezer's recommendation system recently. I happened to like one single song by an artist, so I gave it a "like." But ever since, Deezer has been bombarding me with notifications about all of this artist's new releases and related content – even though I only liked that one track!

I paid more than 100 euro per year just to see promoted music?

Hey @shawnC

It might be helpful if you dislike the artist. Maybe this will correct the recommendation algorithm.

Otherwise it would be an issue for the developers. @Leonídia.Deezer & @Jaime.?

Perhaps I unclear - When I liked one song, I started receiving notifications about all new song releases from the artist of that one song, and I didn't have the ability to change my settings to only receive notifications for new songs from artists I actually like.

I actually understand you. There is no setting like that. That's why my suggestion was to dislike the artist so that the algorithm adjusts. You can still have the individual song in your favorites.

I feel you and definitely see these things can really happen, even though I have the completely opposite issue, I do not receive notifications about new releases from my favorite artists.

Hi @Marcormark !

Maybe your favorite artists haven't posted anything lately, so you're not getting notifications!?
Probably the Deezer system, based on your favorite artists, sends similar notifications with the assumption that you will like or discover some new artist!

No, this is not the case, as I stated here: https://en.deezercommunity.com/features-feedback-44/notifications-system-doesn-t-seem-to-be-working-as-i-d-expect-78786?postid=238346#post238346
