Hi, this is more of a request then an Idea. I love Deezer and I am a hifi subscriber. My is: PLEASE EXTEND THE PLAYLIST LIMIT. I CAN’T ADD MORE THEN TWO THOUSAND SONGS TO IT AND SOME OF MY PLAYLISTS ARE ALMOST PERFECT TO ME. I NEED TO HAVE THE LIMIT TO EXTEND TO THREE THOUSAND OR FOUR!

This would be nice.

I’d recommend them to do it 5000, because 10000 is liked tracks.

I do not have any timeline, nor do I know if they ever do this, but we can always hope.

Hello,

I just subscribed (with the 3 months trial) to the HiFi tier with the idea of integrating my account to my Logitech Media Server, I do have 3 Squeezelite players all of them on HiFi systems.

I just realized that the HiFi tier is not support. I also noticed this is a requested feature by many subscribers.

Please consider integrating the services via a native API.

Hello im am a hifi deezer user.

I wuold like to listen a live album whitout the gaps. In spotify there is a setting for this.

Bring back hear this.

It worked perfectly fine and I preferred it by far over flow and daily mix.

Why are features being removed? Can we not have all of them?

And what happens when there are audio problems? I have submitted multiple bug reports on one song and it’s been over a year, still not fixed.

We shouldn’t have to choose between feature updates and bug fixes. This doesn’t make sense.

Instead of the shuffle button pausing songs (which for some reason they removed the shuffle button in favorites playlist in the browser?) make it reshuffle. Shuffle my music is not what I mean. I want to just shuffle my playlist or favorites.

We’ve been waiting forever for Discord rich presence. The team at Discord said they are open to allowing Deezer integration, so we are all just waiting on the Deezer team to do something now. @Rudi you mentioned that the feature isn’t currently in the cards? Why? We are lacking transparency from the development team, we users have no idea what obstacles are in the way of Discord rich presence, nor are we getting any reasoning from the development team as to why it hasn’t happened yet other than “it’s not on the plans right now.” We are communicating through a middle man to try our best to reach the Deezer developers, but they are returning with weak responses.

 

I switched back to paying for Spotify, but if Deezer steps up their social features and adds Discord rich presence, then I’d be happy to switch back for another try.

Heya all - I can’t see my listening history on the Android app, can I?

I think that would be great if I could, like the last 200 listens or something.

Oh, I see on the web app it’s only 40. Could that also be increased?

I think this would be great as often when I’m out and about I just want to stick on my most recent tracks on shuffle or something because I know I like them and it’s a bit of background music.

Other than that though it’s a v good app and service :)

Maybe a bit low on tracks in places (missing albums, etc) but I’m sure that will improve with time.

Yep, the normalisation issue happens, with the same albums, either within the app
and the web app.

I can understand that.

I was using another paid music service and app recently (before I switched back to Deezer) and it skips and stutters like crazy! My phone is low spec but it’s the only one that does it, so I do understand the importance of a well performing app.

Alessandro, @Alessandro Massignan have you tried deactivating the volume normalisation feature in the settings? If you've got the link for the albums, maybe we can check into them as well, just in case.

Hi all! Love this idea-box! 

 

My idea: a shuffle priority.

I like to listen to playlists on shuffle, but some songs I want to hear more often. I would like an option to either add a song to a playlist multiple times, or ‘upvote’ a song so that it plays twice as many times as the other songs in the list.

I would like to see a similar function like Spotify. 

In the favorites playlist a gerne / moods selection function On top of the playlist. 

 

It would be great also when I select some of the moods or gerne. And the selected songs are all played. Deezer automatically starting a "radio station" based on that mood or gerne.

Hi, would be nice if have a button to share your profile to your friends, like copy and paste Url, it’s just possible to do that opening your account on the browser and copying the Url from there.

Please Add SongCatcher to WatchOS.  Its currently only available on IOS.  It makes perfect sense to have SongCatcher on Apple Watch as its always available on your wrist…

Hello

 

I have a KaiOS Nokia, and I really like it. Its limited features are just enough, without the device taking too much of my attention. 

What would make it even better though, is a Deezer app. I don’t know if that would be doable, but I think with the traction these kind of hybrid-quasi-smartphones are getting, there is business to make! You may even split marketing costs with Nokia for the launch of its next KaiOS phone.

I hope you think about it.

Referring to your deezer playlists with classical music - can you either label if they’re only music or if they contain opera, as well? I never, ever want to hear opera. I hit the mad face every single time an opera (or choir) plays yet deezer continues to come up in your playlist suggestions. One never knows if there is opera lurking in your playlists. So please figure out a way to segregate classical music from classical opera. It shouldn’t be difficult!

Hm, does anyone else find that last.fm scrobbling sends the scrobble at strange points in the song? Like right at the end or right at the beginning?

I think most scrobbling services send it halfway through the song or after say 3 minutes (whichever is sooner). I think that system is good so maybe it could be implemented? I'm not sure what the current system is on Deezer.

Thank you for not making me rely on separate apps though for scrobbling because I can't find a single one that works on my version of Android Go (which is fairly recent).

Not yet, @music1809 we thought about that so many times, but the trick is that revealing more info or details can boost users' frustration if these aren't met, for example.

Deezer Legends (superusers) have access to more details as one of their privileges :sunglasses:

  • New means that the idea has just been created and therefore, not properly categorised
  • In Discussion means that the devs have this in their minds, in their backlog. There's an active discussion around it, to see how to implement the idea, if it's feasible, etc
  • Feedback means that the comments have been passed to the right team, but it can only be considered if there's enough demand, for example

We're currently discussing how to improve these statuses here, with our Product teams. But I hope this gives you an idea. Have a great weekend! :relaxed:
