Are there any current plans to launch Deezer in Trinidad and Tobago? T&T is currently the only English speaking Caribbean country where Deezer has yet to launch its services.

Thanks for your patience.
We're continuously working to reach more countries with our service! But there are no plans for your country at this very moment. We'll keep you updated with our progress!
Hey
Where you able to see the country on the list before?
Thanks
Thanks for the information and I am sorry that your country is not on the list. We are available in 185 countries and always looking forward to expand to more. However at the moment Trinidad and Tobago will not be included.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
I’m also from Trinidad and Tobago and this was always an issue for me as well. What’s the reason for not including our country? Simply saying “you won’t be included” is not good enough.
Hey
Thanks :)
I've been a paying Deezer subscriber for over 5 years and I'm in Trinidad and Tobago. Deezer placed me in Jamaica and the music selection is fine. I get local and regional music, not so much Latin music as the other community post about Trinidad and Tobago mentioned.
However, I'd like to try HiFi Family and I can't switch to that plan because my payment method (PayPal) is from Trinidad but my Deezer country is Jamaica.
I understand not having resources to manage another Caribbean country, even though Caribbean islands with smaller populations are listed, but can you add Trinidad and Tobago to the list to allow for payment method matching? We can be bundled in with Jamaica's music management.
Well you’d be lucky to still have the service. A couple weeks ago the service canceled my subscription that I have been using for many years without any issue whatsoever. I am pretty sure I was able to access the service from Trinidad and Tobago. I honestly could not remember that is was unavailable. As someone mentioned above I did realize at some point that my country was recognized as Jamaica. Not sure I put Jamaica as my country. I doubt. They have now informed me that the service is unavailable in Trinidad and Tobago. In any event it is passing strange that one of the larger economies of the Caribbean does not have access to this service. Very very strange to say the least.
I love the service and I am quite disappointed and annoyed by this time of events. I maintain it makes ZERO sense that Trinidad is excluded given it’s economic size and similarity to the countless other Caribbean nations which have access.
Deezer should fix this. Their competitors are on this market and see no reason why they should not be.
Yeah I got hit with the SAME thing. I was confused when I was told how the app assumed that I was from Jamaica. Steups

don’t worry I plan to write them soon with a proper representation for our country. Our omission does not make sense or sit well with me.
What is the payment method you all are using?
I use PayPal and when I attempted to trial Deezer HiFi some months ago I could not because the country of my payment method (Trinidad and Tobago) didn’t match the country in Deezer (Jamaica).
I expect I will run into the same issue you both got upon my renewal date.
Tried Paypal and normal card, and I couldn’t get to renew for nothing.
Haven’t tried back this month (money was shallow), so hoping November will treat me kindly.
I was using my usual credit card. As I mentioned I was using this service for several years without issue then they just rejected my payment this month out of nowhere.
Just as a precaution I signed up for Spotify. I still have to transfer over my playlists.
Spotify does not have their family plan available in Trinidad and Tobago though. I use this plan from Deezer to have multiple profiles.
I hope Deezer can sort this out
1 month later after switching to Spotify I am happy to report that I am doing just fine. So Deezer’s loss.
I will say there are really only three thing i miss.
In the end Spotify has been quite a worthy replacement. Decent user interface. They are much better on Playlists and Podcasts. There isn’t a big difference among the catalogues of the major services. So I can pretty much still find whatever I need to listen to. Honestly I am a happy camper still so goodbye Deezer.
May see you soon if you decide to serve Trinidad & Tobago again. Or maybe not - I might become way to settled to bother to change again.

This has also happened to me. After many years of use.

Does that mean you've lost your deezer Playlist or can you copy it across?
Actually there are online services that allow you to transfer your playlists from one service to another. I started to use one but realized that you can only transfer I think 100 songs before you are required to pay - not sure if it was a monthly subscription or a one off fee. More likely the latter. When I got to the hundred song limit I just never bothered to pay. I did not have a whole lot of Deezer playlists so was not a major issue for me.
Thank BushB, appreciate that info. Have a great day
I did a one time payment for FreeYourMusic to transfer my playlists and it worked well moving from Deezer to Spotify.
Note though, it did not populate the favourites list in Spotify, it created a new playlist. But I have everything over.

So there’s just no way to continue using Deezer at all if you’re from T&T? I really don’t want to have to swtich…
I did notice the whole JA/TT conflict with my card, but I’m running through the trial now using Profiles. Only other option for me is to use Apple Music because Spotify won’t allow family plans either. I really wish they didn’t decide to alienate the entire country who are trying to legitimately pay to use their service.
