Understandably, as it is now - we have two ways to share a Family Subscription - Individual Accounts and Profiles.Profiles is what most would use for their children often below the age of 13 - 18 years (depending on jurisdiction). The problem: There exists no protection when switching between profiles and some cases some profiles have restrictions such as limiting explicit content.Sometimes too, a user could mistakenly (or deliberately) log in into another person’s profile and end up messing up their recommendations and overall music experience. The idea:Introduce PIN Codes: after logging in with an email and password, when choosing profiles, a user would enter say 4-digit code/pin before having access to a certain profile. Admin Profiles Settings Override: If the admin sets say user A as a kid profile or denies explicit recommendations - this setting should override what user A will do to their settings when they log in (with a PIN 😉).

I understand that the feature to block an artist currently exists, however this only blocks tracks that the said artist recorded, but it doesn’t block the tracks that the blocked artist is featured in. I could have blocked artist X, but he may be featured in track that is in a playlist I follow or the auto-recommendations and I don’t want to hear them at all.Could Deezer implement it the same way other platforms do? Such as greying out tracks that the blocked artist is featured in and automatically skipping that song as one plays along the playlist? On hover the it could show a helper text like “Track contains blocked artist”.
I just noticed that with the new updates to the Mobile App, the playlist description feature was removed. While the Playlist Description is still present in the Web app, the feature is missing on the Mobile apps - important in introducing the listener on what the playlist is all about. Was this removal by mistake or deliberate? I really really find this feature useful to playlists I create especially those that get me fans - helps introduce them to what they should expect from the list. Can we have it back please?Web App:Deezer Playlist Edit (Web App)Mobile App:Deezer Edit Playlist (Mobile App)
There is a lot of unused space on Deezer Web/Desktops on the left sidebar.I’m proposing making use of that space to at least show the album art of the current song. It can also hold additional functional icons for:Top-Left: Explicit marker * Bottom-Left: Playback Quality (LOW, HQ, HI-FI) Bottom-Right: Share buttonI’ve tried to put up a graphic for ease of understanding of what I mean:Deezer suggested UI/UX improvement* I know the explicit marker exists right before the name of the artist denoted by letter “ E ”, this suggestion aims at best use of the screen real estate available on Web and Desktop and not to miniaturize everything.
