I’m late but got an answer saying they can’t answer me on that topic. Doesn’t matter anyway as - if you did not visit the link I posted above - the JS SDK is deprecated and is no longer maintained nor supported.
I would personally not create something that is heavily based on a library that is unmaintained / unsupported since many years, even if it’s partially working.Taking a look at the Deezer Developers site (https://developers.deezer.com/): there’s no link in the navigation menu leading to the JS SDK docs (it’s only accessible through Google). Seems like they removed the link but not the pages themselves. Also, the latest commit to the JS SDK examples repo (https://github.com/deezer/javascript-samples/commits/master) was… 10 years ago.
I am really saddened to read the JS SDK has been abandoned and is no longer supported. I should have double-checked it's still (really) usable before already working on my project...Can you please at least remove the JS SDK docs pages? It will mislead other developers in the future.I guess it’s time to migrate to another music streaming platform.
Not answer yet but found (a sad) one in another topic…
I am too facing issues with the Deezer JS SDK, especially with the player which is not loading at all (the API client is working just fine).I contacted the technical support yesterday, and also asked if the said SDK is still being maintained, will post follow-up messages here when I’ll get an answer.
