Hey @Mitch C. our devs and catalogue team mentioned that they are aware of the problem and working in a fix, which includes a catalogue clean-up. There’s no ETA yet but we are working with Google on that. Apologies for the inconvenient and I hope the problem is fixed soon. Thanks again. I'll keep an eye out for when the fix gets posted.
Thanks @Mitch C. I’ve ask our devs now in order to check if it is a bug on our side or something else.. As soon as I hear back from them I’ll let you know. I appreciate it!
Wouldn't be so bad if I could just block the songs when they play. I'm sure I would eventually get the regular versions.
Sure, here's some examples: Thug Luv - Bone Thugs-N-HarmonyFor the love of money - Bone Thugs-N-HarmonyCalifornia Love - TupacOvernight celebrity - TwistaBuck dich - RammsteinFeuer frei - RammsteinAmerika - RammsteinDu hast - RammsteinFlashlight - George ClintonAtomic Dog - George ClintonKnee deep - George ClintonMaster of puppets - MetallicaHarvester of sorrow - Metallica There's more, but I just can't remember them all.
@Mitch C. you problem is with Google assistant? thanks When using Android Auto, if I request a song using Google Assistant, Deezer always plays a live version or remix instead of the album version. In another thread, an employee suggested adding the word “single" when requesting a song, and locked the thread so nobody else could comment. I renewed my subscription thinking that was the answer, however, that hasn't ever worked for any song I request.I love the sound quality of Deezer, but being able to request a song hands-free in the car is a matter of safety. I'll probably just begrudgingly going back to Spotify.
I will be getting a new Toyota Camry shortly. Does Deezer work with Android Auto on this car (I have a Samsung S20 phone? So long as you don't request specific songs with the assistant. (It will often give you a live version or remix no matter how you request it)
When using Google Assistant to request a song, a live (and lower quality) version of the song is often played, no matter how I phrase it. However, if I type it in, the album version is always the first option.
Same issue here.
Sorry to see you go, @Mitch C. At least there are plenty of options out there so everyone can find a service that meets their needs. Cheers G I suppose you're right... Not sure why anyone would want to pay a premium to hear songs that sounded like it was recorded on a cell phone 200 ft from the stage, but hey man no judgment here.I mean sure, it probably wouldn't be terribly difficult to change up the coding so that you have to say the words, “live version" when requesting a track to hear the aforementioned cell phone recording, but why do that when people can just select another streaming service 🤷🏼♂️I do appreciate your comment though, after reading it I went to look at just how many direct competitors there are in lossless audio streaming services... Amazon music, Apple music, Tidal, and Qobuz all seem like solid alternatives.Rock on @GropplerZorn 🤘 😎
