The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
Actually there are online services that allow you to transfer your playlists from one service to another. I started to use one but realized that you can only transfer I think 100 songs before you are required to pay - not sure if it was a monthly subscription or a one off fee. More likely the latter. When I got to the hundred song limit I just never bothered to pay. I did not have a whole lot of Deezer playlists so was not a major issue for me.
1 month later after switching to Spotify I am happy to report that I am doing just fine. So Deezer’s loss. I will say there are really only three thing i miss.Deezer Flow. Spotify does not have an equivalent (Apple Music does BTW - I don’t use Apple because I don’t like how they integrate with the Sonos music system). I liked Flow as that continuously playing station based on my preferences. It was not perfect, but I liked it. But this is not a deal breaker. Spotify has a number of Daily mixes which are meant to give you long playing options based on the many dimensions of your taste. Spotify does not yet have a Hifi option like Deezer. I subscribed to Deezer Hifi. On the bright side it should be coming soon. Also, to be honest I am pretty sure I would not be able to pass a test to distinguish between Hifi and Mp3. But I still liked knowing I had Hifi. Because this is largely psychological it again is not a deal breaker. Finally, I believe on Deezer I could have played multiple streams
I was using my usual credit card. As I mentioned I was using this service for several years without issue then they just rejected my payment this month out of nowhere.
Yeah I got hit with the SAME thing. I was confused when I was told how the app assumed that I was from Jamaica. Steups don’t worry I plan to write them soon with a proper representation for our country. Our omission does not make sense or sit well with me.
Well you’d be lucky to still have the service. A couple weeks ago the service canceled my subscription that I have been using for many years without any issue whatsoever. I am pretty sure I was able to access the service from Trinidad and Tobago. I honestly could not remember that is was unavailable. As someone mentioned above I did realize at some point that my country was recognized as Jamaica. Not sure I put Jamaica as my country. I doubt. They have now informed me that the service is unavailable in Trinidad and Tobago. In any event it is passing strange that one of the larger economies of the Caribbean does not have access to this service. Very very strange to say the least. I love the service and I am quite disappointed and annoyed by this time of events. I maintain it makes ZERO sense that Trinidad is excluded given it’s economic size and similarity to the countless other Caribbean nations which have access. Deezer should fix this. Their competitors are on this market and see n
