Hi @Ptit chat blanc @Jedve sorry to hear that you have the same issue. I do also work with multiple screens using Windows 11 and never had a crash, but to be fair I only occasional move Deezer between screens.

The team is aware about the problem, but we don’t have yet a timeline when this will be fixed.

Hi @uepsala Sorry to hear that. Have you tried all troubleshooting steps and settings provided?

Unfortunately, for now, we still don’t have a solution for users that still reproduce the issue.

Switch to Spotify?

Same problem with newest version. Dragging around the window closes Deezer immediately. So I guess, it’s the drag&drop, not the movement between monitors.Tried the settings from above, no change.

Just found out that the same happens when I change the size of the app by moving the border with my mouse.

Latest version crashes when being moved between monitors or when attempting to dock the app. Windows 11.

Had the same problem (crash while moving between monitors), but turning Aero Shake on fixed it for now.

Edition    Windows 11 Enterprise
Version    25H2
Build    26200.8246

Deezer 7.1.190

I already have in enabled. Disabling it does not change behavior.

Hello @user11235813 thanks for the feedback. It's interesting that what worked for you doesn't work for other users impacted with the same issue. Technically, turning Aero Shake on should fix the issue.

@ZaQ1028 are you in the same Windows version and Deezer app version?

Yes.

Yup, happening to me too on Windows 11 Business. When checking the app logs I see a ton of warning about positioning. It’s weird that these are not marked as errors when they cause the app to break.

Appending my system specs and app logs. Hopefully y’all can figure something out.

Oh my gosh me as well. I always thought it so odd that I go to move deezer onto another window of my multi monitor set up and it just disappears. Deezer 7.1.220 and Windows 11 Enterprise.

New version out. Can confirm the issue is still there.

Hi @Aaron Arrick @sosarder @ZaQ1028 Sorry to hear that the issue affects you all. But I must thank you Aaron for sharing those two files. I will share them tomorrow with the team. Can’t promise much at this point, but let’s see if this guides us in the right direction.

IF anybody else has logs or any additional information that can contribute to the resolution of this issue, we would highly appreciate the sharing.

Hello @wimheylen @smooms @ingvarr777  @jamie_mot after some more investigation, we managed to reproduce the issue if the option Aero Shake is disabled.

Can you please enable that option and give it a new try to see if the app still crash’s?

Here is how to find that setting.

Please let us know how are things going with that option ON.

Thanks for investigating this and identifying a potential cause. I enabled the Aero Shake option as suggested and tested the application again. I'll continue monitoring its behavior and report back if I experience any further crashes.

It's interesting that the issue appears to be related to this Windows setting. Hopefully this information helps narrow down the root cause and leads to a permanent fix.

Sadly the issue persists for me regardless of if this setting is on or off.

That’s great to hear! Best of luck debugging.

I’m having the same issues on my work laptop/docking stations. An inconsistent solution is to move the application slowly (I click and drag from the top bar) from screen to screen. It doesn’t work every time, but it occasionally works. I haven’t tried the Aero Shake - I believe my organization limits my administrative options on my laptop.

If moving slowly doesn’t work for me, I just try 4-5 times and it usually works by then. Playing music while moving the application does not seem to impact the success rate.

Deezer 7.1.220

Windows 11 Enterprise 10.0.26200

Edit: If someone could share how to get the app logs, would be happy to share those as well.
