Siri not working for bands

For a few months ago, Siri does not play musc from many bands correctly. For example, "Hey Siri play Take That on Deezer." just plays a Take That song (You and me) and other unrelated songs.

Hi,

Using version 10.12.0.2, it’s working again. Now when I ask play  Il Volo, Take That, Tom Petty, Alan Parsons, Roxy Music, Christopher Cross… it’s playing music by the band or the artist, not just one song.

Thanks!

It still doesn't work in many groups, for example Il Volo, Take That, Tom Petty, Alan Parsons, Roxy Music, Christopher Cross. It doesn't happen in everyone, but it is consistent, when a group fails it always fails. 3 or 4 months ago these groups were all functioning.

Thanks

(Using version 10.12.0.1)

Hi @vdata I have the latest iOS beta version 10.12.0 and tested with a few bands and it worked.
Could you please update to our latest version on the app store and let me know if it works for you?
Thanks and apologies for the delay

No change after update 10.9.1 Is anyone at Deezer aware of this issue?

Even I like Deezer more, I will have no choice to switch to Apple Music. My listening habits are based on listening to bands using Siri.

I don't think it's a metadata problem, it worked before. Using Alexa it works. Something has changed in a Deezer or iOS update.

Siri's music playback issues with specific bands might stem from incomplete or inaccurate metadata in the music database it accesses. Try specifying albums or tracks more precisely, or utilize alternative music services like Apple Music for better compatibility.
