Holy hell, I just started my subscription a few weeks ago and now I find out there is no fix to this apparently old issue? Will have to cancel again.

We didn't break it @KWH  but yes, it reoccured. Apologies for that.

We're preparing major updates to the desktop app so this issue doesn't happen again. I just need to ask you for your patience, we'll get there soon!

OK, thank you. But do I have this do this with every album? I am nearly exclusively listing to albums from front to back. It would be really annoying to get autoplay every time I forget this. Are there plans to implement a setting for this to turn it off permanentely?

Seriously? Because I don’t want to have to use my device every time at exactly the same time the album ends, although this album is designed to end at exactly this time. It is weird to give this question as an answer to a totally logical question. You don’t think it would make sense to make a permanent setting to make albums and playlists end at the moment they are supposed to end?

Sorry about that @Riverglass

Where is that happening? When you play a song from Search results? Is this on the desktop app?

Please give us a bit more info, we should be able to help.

The designated solution in this thread appears to be obsolete. In the Deezer app on iPadOS I find no such option when scroling down th playlst while playing something.

Hey @mareep@Neebl Have you deactivated the “Automated recommendations”? You have to do it from browser or desktop app. Start playing the album, Open the queue, Scroll down and deactivate Automated recommendations.

This isn't an adequate answer. Of course I've deactivated the “Automated recommendations" in the queue. The autoplay is still happening when I'm casting to my smart speakers.

Apologies everyone, just wanted to make sure it was deactivated! This is an abnormal behaivour, I have notified our devs team about it. Thanks for reporting it.

Hi @rsbrux, unfortunately, the Automated recommendations is not available on the Deezer mobile app.
However this option is available on the desktop app.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey @Francesco77

Thanks for reaching out. In the Desktop app, it's easier.

Open your queue-list and scroll all the way to the bottom. Once there, toggle off the automated recommendations. Let us know how it goes!

Hi @Gizmo2021

Have you tried our Deezer Sleep timer?

That will help a lot!

  1. Select any music, audiobook, radio or podcast content to launch your Deezer player
  2. Tap the Sleep timer Sleep_timer_Chrono.jpg icon on the middle-bottom of the screen
  3. You can select your desired duration:
    • 5 minutes
    • 10 minutes
    • 20 minutes
    • 30 minutes
    • 45 minutes
    • 1 hour
  4. On iOS devices, you can also select:
    • End of track
    • End of episode
  5. You will see a notification to confirm timer is set

Note: To turn off Deezer's sleep timer feature or adjust duration, simply select the Sleep timer Sleep_timer_Chrono.jpg icon

Enjoy Deezer!! :nerd:

@klivewarren

Thx for your detailed feedback. 👍🏻

If you're referring to the track mix that launches at the end, thank you very much for your feedback! But please do confirm if this is happening when casting. The teams are actually looking into improving this and I've just forwarded your comments @Placido09 @Fahnjim :relaxed:

Please vote for the idea, everyone!

Thanks a lot for being detailed with your suggestion @TurtlePurple this is super important for our devs to understand how to improve these features in the near future :relaxed:

Doesn’t appear to be a solution for not hearing unrelated music after I play a song I searched for on desktop. This is the final time I hear some random song play that I didn’t want to hear. Subscription cancelled.

Sorry to see you go.

I will keep telling them about this issue as legends, but power is on devs and managers to do.

Thanks for coming back @Fahnjim @Placido09

For casting, it's been looked into but it might take some time before development. Just because the teams are working on different things at the same time - we're a small company.

For the Android track mix, the teams got the feedback and will discuss this in the meantime, to figure out how to move forward with a better feature :relaxed:

RE the navigation button -- the back button does not work in the Mac app.

Have you updated the app to the version where it is fixed?

Yula, can you confirm that resolving this problem i.e. getting rid of unwanted autoplay is definitely included in the development schedule. A problem report must have been raised months ago and the change agreed by now. Surely all that is needed is to make the function “opt-in” on all devices.

Hi @beskar, sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations.

To disable autoplay on Deezer desktop app and browser after the last track, you can turn off the "Autoplay" feature.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Open Deezer and navigate to the "Now Playing" screen.
  2. Click on the "Queue" icon, typically found in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Locate the "Autoplay" toggle button and switch it off.

Unfortunately, on the mobile phone app this feature it not available as Deezer considers a perfect way to discover news song and artists.

Hey @Francesco77

Amazing feedback, this is what we need!

Yes, I'll pass on your suggestion to move the button elsewhere. Since you're using Deezer on a desktop, the queue is essential, don't forget that!

About the navigation buttons, please update the app to 4.32.1 where we fixed this :relaxed:

Keep me posted!

LOL

+1 for this. It’s really quite astonishing, to be listening to a beautiful mournful track fade into the blackness and then suddenly get, as I just did, Bloodhound Gang roaring into my headphones.

Nothing wrong with the Bloodhound Gang - I just. Want. To not. Autoplay. Random. Songs.

This is clearly something which is important to the community, and should be easily selectable.

Deezer desktop on Windows, fwiw.

Thanks for the feedback @Riverglass sad to see you go, I'll let the teams know.

Please refrain from abusive language @e2t, constructive feedback doesn't work like that.

Has anyone had any luck with this cos its doing my head in having to constantly skip unwanted tracks from created playlists!!! :0(  Deezer dont make me go to the dark side ….Sxxxxxy, pleaseeeeee

I just moved from Spotify because of their abysmal new desktop app. I am quite happy with Deezer, but just noticed that albums do not stop when over but that autoplay is always on. This is really awful. Is there really no setting to turn it off permanentely? This might be a reason to cancel my subscription because I hate it when music just continues after the album is over.
