Hello,

I am a paying client - Deezer Familly - for years. I never experienced such issue.
 

For days, my Flow contains 90+% of movie or tv score (not soundtrack/songs, the score). 


Yes, this is based on your likes and listening habits: No!
I have less than 10% of scores in my likes, playlist, downloaded albums. Moreover, I did not listen to movie scores for months.
 

Some People hijacked your account or a family member is using your profile: No!
No one logged with my account (I did not receive any email alert about a new connection), and no one in my family is listening to movie score.


Just empty your local cache, remove all “likes” related to this genreNo!
I already did this, and the flow doesn’t change.

Dislike and block the album / authorsNo!
I already did this and flow keeps playing tracks from banned authors and/or albums.

Try a different flow mood :  No!
When I try the various flows, it either has no effect at all, or stream totally unrelated stuff (from genre I have ZERO likes, album, previously listened to).


What is even stranger is almost all these score (99%) are from Disney movies (especially MCU and Star Wars). And I do not give a fork about Disney movie scores.

So what do I have to do, or more precisely, what Deezer can do to keep me as a paying client?

Yes I am angry, fed-up, tired of this situation.

The flow plays banned tracks because the banned tarcks and artists feature is BROKEN.

For months. It was one of my reasons to leave the platform.

Got fed up of nightcore’s of my favourite songs.

FLOW moods are in my opinion just like yours, either as profitable as main flow or, completely unrelated genres I don’t want to hear at all. Do you believe our feedback is heard or are we just a lost voice?


I searched a bit here and there… For years, people are requesting the ability to reset or force a new evaluation of the data behind the flow. FOR YEARS. Do you think there is a clear explanation why such option doesn’t exist? Of course, there is not.

 

So, yes, I am afraid there is no one to hear us.


Hey there @CptDobey unfortunately it’s not one of our priority to create a “Reset Flow” feature. 

The dislike button is not broken, but please make sure the artist you banned is not hidden in your playlist and remember to clear your cache. 

I would suggest you still change the password of your account. Clear your cache and follow the advices below to fix your flow :point_down_tone3:

Thanks for your answers but :
-- I have zero playlist but the automatic Top 100 and Last Played ones,
-- within my 400+ favorite tracks, my 270 albums and my 100+ artists I have zero track related to a movie. ZERO
-- I am a Deezer member since 2011, more than ten years. The link you provided contains tricks I am using for years. 

Even if I already cleared cache about seven times during the last two weeks, I just did it again… and rebooted my phone.
Since that cache clearing, the last 30 (thirty) tracks from Flow where ALL related to movie / TV. Obviously, none where from or related to my favorites tracks / Album / Artist. NONE.


So, what’s next ?

I just blocked “David Arnold”. Next track is from… David Arnold. And the dislike button is not broken ?

Edit 2: Why the flow does not stream any track from my favorites 400 tracks, 270 albums, 100 artists ?
This question is very simple, isn’t it ?

Dislike feature IS broken. I banned almost every nightcore sensation on Deezer, and they still keep playing on FLOW or recommended on daily lists. It wasn’t broken before however.


Same, my flow is broken on one of my computer, not all of them, not on my phone, and this happened only month ago, this is recent and definitely a bug. 

It is completely broken on this PC, proposing music none of the family member has ever listen to.

And this black screen bug where the windows app get’s lost and you have to use the “view->go back” navigation to get back on track ? I can’t be the only one experiencing that and this one has been there for ever… looks like you support guys could start doing your job,

This is very weird @Mastor,

Flow should be the same in all devices, are you sure you are connected to the right account? 

Could you log out and back in? Let me know..
