I'm seeing references to there being a limit on the amount of tracks that can be favorited.
Is there a limit on artists too???
Limit increased for liked tracks.
I have 2010 now and they are now 10000 limit.
Playlist limit still 2000 tracks in one.

Ugh.
I don’t know why I thought limit of artists was 2000, but is 1000. Maybe will be increased to 2k to be similar to others from playlists, songs in each playlist.
I think you ask this because GPM automatically added artists to favorites when you added a song from them. Who knows if Deezer allows us to do that in the future!

How are the limits on desktop and browser different from the mobile apps??? How does that work? I can add more on the desktop app, but they won't show up on mobile???

Exactly this. On web app you can add 2000, but if on mobile 1000 you can’t see all.
I hope they can make 2K all and eventually increase from that.
You can have on Deezer 2000 playlists with 2000 songs on each.
That is 4 000 000 songs alone.
These are only a few of the reasons Deezer is my third choice of streaming service behind Tidal and Spotify.
The limit of 2000 songs in a playlist, no playlist folders implementation and, more importantly, an artist limit of 2000 are real deal-breakers for me. The latter being the real bugbear. I follow approximately 2500 on both Tidal and Spotify.
When I find both old and new artists I like them across all of my platforms in order to keep track of their new releases. However, it was only a week or so ago I realised that all the artists I had ‘liked’ on Deezer the past 6 months or so has, in fact, all been a pointless waste of time as I wasn’t actually following them at all due to me reaching my artist limit.
Needless to say it has had a detrimental affect on both my new release notifications and my Friday Releases playlist. Thankfully both Tidal and Spotify do not have these limits otherwise I’d hate to think just how much music I have missed out on.
This limit pretty much makes Deezer unfit for purpose and does not futureproof my listening habits.
Thanks for you honest feedback
I’ll pass the info to our devs but I am not sure it is in the plans to increase the current numbers in the short term. Hopefully we can have some news next year

The limits are not everywhere like you said.
I think Deezer has great wishes around, they want to be great music player. If they remove limits, they can be even better I think. I even found most underground music on Deezer and limits not so far on.
I update playlists for hard dance fans on Deezer, two of them, and I am 1 500 songs away on one.
I hope they can remove some more limits. Music is made to be heard!
Artist limits and Album limits are a dealbreaker for me. I have been a paid subscriber to Deezer and later Deezer family for the past 4 years. I hit my 2000 limit on both artists and albums this past weekend. Similar to
I will be migrating to Spotify next month. Goodbye, Deezer. I love you - you came the closest to the dear departed Rdio, but your insistence on not listening to your customers’ request is very disappointing.
Thanks for your feedback
I hope we can have more than 2k limit in the short term.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may have cause d to your User experience.
I'll be following the example of what seems to be a growing number of disgruntled subscribers, or former subscribers, and switching to Tidal due to these very annoying restrictions you've seemingly randomly put on the various favourite categories.
I've been adding albums to my favourites for some time and got a message saying they'd been added and when I checked, there they were in favourites. But, once I left the app and came back to it, they were gone.
I opened a trouble ticket on this and nobody even mentioned there was a limit (I'd hit 2K), so I was told to follow all kinds of useless instructions, none of which would work because, obviously, I'd reached this idiotic limit.
Get your act together, Deezer, before you become just another failed pretender. I enjoyed your service up until this short-sighted limitation you set.
Hope you get well soon.
Bye-bye.
The same as many above. the artist limit is a massive pain. So im probably gonna shift to another platform. Been adding artists for the last 3 months or so and none of them have actually been added to my list even though the app says they have when i click the icon.

Other than Apple Music, what streaming service has “significantly” larger limits than Deezer? My number one played playlist is “favourites” where I have nearly 6,000 tunes, I know of no other service that approaches this. I could use Apple Music and Airplay to my speakers, but Apple does not exist within the KEF Connect app.
Thanks for you honest feedback

Well
Hi
If that happens, we'll let you know.
I moved from Amazon Music to Deezer because of dumb limits, unaware of the limits in Deezer. I'm at about 1700 Playlist, but I'm not going to wait until I hit the limit until I switch to Spotify. This is a really dumb policy. It's not like a few index files eat up all that much storage space given the monthly charges. You could even charge extra. This is a deal-breaker. It's like Deezer wants to be in the dustbin of history.

Hi
Oh my, I reached the album limit and noticed it not long ago :(
It’s very important for me since I’m listening music by albums…
And there is even no nice way to classify them and decide which I can sacrifice. Sad story
Hi
The limit for album on the web or desktop app is 2000, but on the Android or iOS app, it's limited to 1000.
While you can see all of them on the web or desktop app, the Android or iOS app displays only the first 1000.
If you have any more questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to ask.
Hi @Leonídia.Deezer!
Unfortunately, this is my big problem, I'm well over the 2000 playlist limit. I've been a Deezer fan since 2016, but this 2000 limit is very restrictive and increasingly uncomfortable! I still think that Deezer is the best on the market, but because of this I have a lot of problems and think about switching more and more often, I would be very sorry if I had to leave Deezer, but unfortunately I have to.
The 2000 limit on favourite artists really annoying. I am 70 years old, so have many decades of favourites, though I mostly listen to contemporary artists. I keep discovering new young artists that I like, but I can’t favourite them because of the arbitrary limit. I like Deezer and don’t want to change to another service because I joined when Deezer was the first and only service of its type available in Canada.
After 8 years i hit 2k artists i cant even create another list, sorry but goodbye deezer hello spotify
Hi
I understand how challenging it can be to face limitations, especially when it comes to something as personal as your favorite artists.
While we appreciate your loyalty to Deezer, I must inform you that changing the content limits is not currently in our plans.
However, we're continuously looking for ways to improve our service, and your feedback is valuable in that process.
Hi
Your dedication to Deezer has been duly noted, and we truly value your support over the years.
However, at the moment, we don't have plans to change the limits.
We hope you'll consider sticking with us despite this limitation.
If you have any further feedback or questions, please feel free to reach out.
