Hello @sampasquierHappy New Year I just checked your Deezer Family and I was able to see that your subscription was started whilst being in Norway, which is why you are getting charged in this currency.To change the country settings, pleasecancelyour current subscription: Please take a PC or Mac (not mobile phone or tablet) »open internet browser Chromecast, Firefox or Safari » log into your Deezer account » click on your profile in the top right corner »click on account settings »My information tab »Manage my subscription »click on Cancel subscription Once your Deezer account reverts to the Deezer Free version on 15/01/2020, you can activate a new subscription on the same Deezer account whilst being in Switzerland.You will then have access to the Deezer Switzerlandmusic library and will get charged with the corresponding currency. Please also bear in mind that you need to use a local payment method (payment method issued in the default country). Please let me know if you need any further help.

Just wait for the current payment period to over so your account will be on free mode . Then renew your subscription and it will recognize your new location

So, I purchased Deezer while on holiday in the states. I live in the U.K. and am happy the subscription is in dollars not pounds as is a little cheaper but all playlists and recommendations are U.S. any way of changing ?

@Rebbitt123 Please note that the catalogues are different from country to country. In order to get the UK catalogue you need to cancel the current subscription and wait for it to end. Afterwards you need to subscribe from the Uk and the account country will automatically change to UK. So will the catalogue 🙂

Hey Thiago, you subscribed while in Ireland, right? It's not possible to automatically change that so you would need to cancel that subscription and then resubscribe when you're back in Brazil :)

you won't 🙂 all contents will be there if you cancel the subscription.

How do I change the country I’m in on Deezer? On my home page it comes up with suggestions of French music from when I went to Canada last year when I logged on. Ever since then it has not changed back to uk. How do I do this? I’ve tried logging off then back on but that’s all.

To change it you would have to cancel your current subscription and then subscribe again from the country that you are based in. In your case I managed to change from here 🙂 Please log out and log back in!

I think I managed to change - sometimes we are not able to. The country might change back to Romania and if this happen you will need to cancel the account and subscribe again with UK ip.

Hi Rafael, I set my account up on a company computer and did not know about this restriction, we VPN in to germany for securty and now I only get German suggestion, I live in Sweden and my account just got paid for a new month, can you please update mine as well?

I won't be able to change it, I'm afraid 😕 You would have to cancel it and subscribe again using a device with Sweden ip...

Thats soo annoying, easier to change streaming service I guess.

If you use the Germany ip, the same will happen with every single streaming service... 🙂

I'm English but I live in Indonesia. Can't I simply change my preferences to English and not have my flow and other suggestions in Indonesian? No point cancelling my subscription because I live in the country and I'm not planning on flying to the UK any time soon. Surely choosing which country preference is a basic option?

Hi @Davey1980 I am afraid that is not the case. The only way to have your account set to UK is to activate a subscription while being in the Uk, sorry about that 😉

Hi @Nanoosh unfortunately you have to cancel it yes, but all the music will be the same. See above for more info 😉

Cancel subscription then re-subsbcribe and pay again eventhough I just recently renewed mu sibscription?

After canceling you have to wait until your account is free again. Then you have to subscribe from the country of origin.

The recommendations bring me a to of French stuff and only French podcasts. I opened the account in France, but I want to have the recommendations in English. I don't live in France anymore. Thanks for your help.
