The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
As we know , Deezer is implementing a track monetization limit of 1000 tracks per user and I applaud this move coz we can't have unlimited music streaming and diluting the royalty pool. Is there like a better way for us to track our music consumption habits ? Maybe set a 1000 track limit warning notification or a daily track limit ?
Hi Deezer,I read that Deezer is implementing a new royalty payment system for artists with UMG. Initially, I was really supportive of Deezer’s groundbreaking approach with UCPS. It helps to reduce the stream dilution in the current system and people gaming the system with fake streams. But the thing is… the newly announced royalty system ain’t it,. I have some suggestions… Add a platform for artists to pitch their songs to curators so they can be promoted on more playlists. Add a flow feature purely for rising artists for users to discover non-mainstream and experimental tracks. ( Tbh, the popular tracks are so anodyne and plain boring and we need some cool and exp
