I have the same issues mentioned here - not scrobbling at all, before it was scrobbling with a delay of hours or even days. The ages old "&" problem too. So far I am using the "old" (and much better, I must say!) website design and scrobbling with the help of chrome and firefox extensions. The situation has also made me revisit my collection on the hard drive, using various players that scrobble on Linux Mint.
