I was looking for this too, because I like to know what’s playing, but the full app is way too busy and distracting for me, with all its suggestions and so on.On the Mac, there doesn’t seem to be a widget currently, but a different option for a minimalist interface is to go to Settings > Control Center and set the “Now Playing” module to show (always, or when active). Then, you get a little “Play”-type button in the menu bar, and when you click on it, a tiny pop-up appears with the name of the current song and artist, and pause / back / forward buttons.Of course you also have the media keys on Macs and most PCs that let you pause and switch tracks without leaving the keyboard, and maybe the controls on your earphones… but none of those show the current track.
