I had this problem as well. Nearly all of it was stuff I never heard of.
This was a fun feature, but it didn’t seem to have much to do with my actual listening history. 4 of 5 of my top artists were acts I never heard of. My top artist was Kylie Minogue, a name I have at least heard… but I could not name a single song. That’s just not my kind of music. There is no way that the roundup I saw was derived from my listening stats alone. I am the admin of a family account (independent accounts) so maybe there’s a bug with that setup?
Hello @GrooveStranger Thank you for reporting this. We have reviewed the track no. 16 - Streets Of New York (feat. Nas & Rakim) on the Deezer Catalogue but unfortunately is unavailable at the moment, I am afraid. Sorry for the inconvenience caused Thanks for checking. Weird that just one track isforbidden but that’s showbiz I guess.
The Seduction of Claude Debussy by Art of Noise has 12 of 13 tracks showing as unavailable in the USA. Seems like it’s an error. /en/album/60228772
Hey @GrooveStranger can you please send me the URL link on Deezer for that album in order to investigate? Thanks :) I pasted in an URL but the forum replaces it with the widget. If you click the widget the page should open. The URL ends with /us/album/1440863.
This album has track 16 showing unavailable in the USA, which seems likely to be an error.
Thanks @Rudi . Here are a couple of apparent errors visible in my USA account. In this album, track 11 shows as not available in my country. In this album, track 5 is blocked for the same reason.
@Rudi should we also report tracks that seem to be incorrectly tagged as being unavailable in our country? For example I was just looking at an artist and saw that a track was missing from one album as “This track is not available in your country,” but the same track is available on their other albums. To me this seems most likely to be an error, but perhaps it’s totally normal in the wacky world of music licensing.
I found an album with a few bad tracks. All of the flawed tracks have a similar problem: the audio cuts out in the left channel for a few seconds at a time. It’s super bad and obvious. Also, the audio quality is pretty muddy on this whole album. It sure doesn’t sound like 320 kbps. For all I know that is how it was produced but check it out? BTW I tried these tracks on a few devices, the problems show up everywhere. Lee Perry and the Upsetters - Revolution Dub Bad tracks:#2 starting at about 2 minutes #3 starting at about 1:35 #5 starting 2:25 I stopped taking notes here.
