The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
Yeah, I’m getting really short gaps now (which is much better than it was) but still not gapless. Must be the longest-tailed feature rollout in history. iOS 13.1.1 on a 6S, app version 8.13.0.4
So happy to see traction on this. Doesn’t seem to have rolled out to my 6S yet, but gaps do seem to be shorter than before …
Apple tv is thought for series I would say...To listen music in your tv, probably it has its own Deezer app, if not, you can send by bluetooth, airplay or with web-browser of TV Speaking for the 95% of us without TVs that have their own “apps” or browsers: Apple TV app, please
We've picked this up this year, and right now, as we speak, we're doing some tests on our mobile apps Is the plan for this to be app-only? Any love for the web player? Stuck at home, that’s what I use pretty much exclusively these days
No results for, as an example, label: "tzadik" or label: "tzadik records" on the macOS desktop application. For what it’s worth, it seems to be url-encoding my search — my results screen reads “No results for “ label%3A “tzadik””
basically when you add album of artist X you would like this artist to be automatically added to your favourite artists? And all songs of that album to be automatically added to your favourite songs? Throwing a vote in against this
I’ve noticed something about flow that is getting a tad annoying. I have a lot of favorited albums, but not many favorited specific tracks. Flow seems to only want to play the first track of a given favorited album, which seems like an odd decision to me — doubly so because a not insignificant percentage of first tracks are intros or preludes. There’s a whole tracklist’s worth of stuff to choose from, flow! I believe in you! Flow might be choosing album tracks based on popularity, since it’s only logical that tracks will get less popular the later in a given album you go. If this is the case, I would encourage a little more adventurism in this department.
If it’s going to not be in the cards for this year, might as well start your development with a PS5 version once that drops and then backfill to PS4 if practical
Hi @tjgavlick please bear in mind that we are talking about FLOW here and not the playlist Chill. Totally — I only mentioned the playlist because that’s how those tracks were added to my listening history when otherwise I would have not sought them out. Later, Flow took those inadvertent listens into account when choosing songs. I think based on the above post it might simply be because my account is relatively new and Flow doesn’t have much to work with, so it’s grasping at straws a bit. As of now I’ve only favorited 11 artists, 36 albums, and 0 tracks. Perhaps it will refine itself as I build out a larger library.
As far as I know that is already the case: the Flow algorithm is only based on favourite tracks, albums and artists and is not even based on songs in a playlist (which are not marked with a heart) and not based on recently played songs which are not in favourites. This cannot be correct. I’m in my trial period and therefore have a relatively fresh account. I clicked on a “chill” playlist because I thought it would be like those instrumental chillhop stations, but it was more like downtempo pop and hip-hop (with vocals). I don’t like either of those genres so I stopped the playlist pretty quickly after a couple skips. My favorite albums and artists are entirely metal, soundtrack, and jazz so far, but I cannot get rid of pop and hip-hop artists from my flow. It pushes me away from using the feature at all.
Yeah I do prefer the system of just adding Tracks, and then Albums and Artists are just derived from that. Add a track to Favourites - the Album and Artist now appear in your list I disagree completely. There are plenty of single tracks I like from artists or albums that I couldn’t care less about as a whole.
Just started a trial, and I guess I’ll see if this feature is added before the trial period ends! I really hope it happens.
