I understand that some tracks may not be available for me in my due to rights issues. Annoying but I get it. 

However when playing through the Samsung multiroom audio app - which supports Deezer - it seems halfy.favourites are suddenly not available. All are playable using the Deezer app directly, or via the Deezer app with Sonos. 

So, what gives? I'm not using a VPN, I have override location auto detect to input Germany manually as my location. 

Is this common with systems with Deezer built in? I'm looking into other systems and this is a major, major issue that makes Deezer a non-viable option.

It’s weird that your favourites show up fine on the Deezer app but not on the Samsung Multiroom app.

Could you send over a couple of screenshots of the tracks that are working on Deezer but not in the Multiroom app?

Also, if you could share a link to one or two of those tracks, that would be super helpful for us to investigate further.

I mentioned favourites, but it's not only that but whole albums, 

For example this album I can play fine on the regular apps. But only the first song seems available via the Samsung Deezer multiroom app.

But from my favourites, here are two screenshots showing all songs available on the app, but numerous that are not via the Deezer Samsung app. 

 

I double checked and in both location is set to Germany, so it really makes no sense. All devices on the same network.

 

 


It seems like a frustrating issue! Sometimes, Deezer might restrict access to certain tracks on devices with built-in apps due to regional licensing agreements or technical limitations with the integration. It's good that you’re testing different systems, but if the track availability differs between devices or apps, it might be tied to how Deezer manages its rights per device. Почему в дезере на ПК не работает поиск по имени исполнителя. Выдается только список жанров. Вводил имена разных исполнителей и названия групп - ничего не помогает. Вот пример.

This is not a regional or location issue. 

 

As I stated in my post, all devices are set to the location of Germany where I am, and I do not use a VPN. And that includes on a Samsung phone. Deezer app on phone, tablet and via my laptop all works fine. Also works fine via Sonos. 

 

But this is my first time using a device with a Deezer app built in. And apart from the poor interface, it simply doesn't let me have access to a good 1/3 of my music. 

 

So when I'm looking at upgrading my HiFi to a Cambridge Audio streamer with Deezer on board... how can I actually trust that Deezer will work properly, if what Deezer offers elsewhere doesn't seem to work or to be supported if it doesn't. 

 

Unfortunately Deezer frequently drops the connection to Chromecast for controls after a while, while the music continues, so I was hoping to avoid that issue by getting a system with it on board. 

 

Luckily other providers are out there should any speaker or system with Deezer on board not work properly, but I'd rather stay with Deezer if possible.
