Terrible signup process, worse delete process

Hello,

 

I thought Deezer was a streaming service where I could pick specific songs to hear if I buy a subscription. Instead, the signup process forces me to pick 15 favourite artists. There is no way around that. I think that is a terrible idea. You are not giving me a chance to try anything first. I could not even delete my account before picking 15 artists.

That is annoying.

So eventually I went through the motions and picked something.

Then I tried to delete my account, because I am not interested in a computer’s suggestions whatsoever.

But when I went to delete my account, I am asked for my Deezer password. Guess what, I signed up using my Google account, so I do not have a Deezer password.

So how do I delete my account?

Hi @Annoyed2 !

I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience and that you're going to leave Deezer without giving it a chance.
The artist selection at the beginning is for Deezer to recognize what music you like and to make recommendations based on that. Later you can all change ... but everyone knows what is best for them.

I can not find that in my profile settings nor the help section hee.
