The only reason I still use Deezer is because it comes free with my carrier plan. I'm honestly considering a change to another service, even if I need to pay for it.

I am honestly looking at you after 3 years again to move away from the competition, but it’s really off putting when you see some random pop songs in your queue once you start the app.
I need this fixed too. I don’t like the local pop music. Comparing Deezer to Spotify, on Spotify, when I launched the app I would immediately press play and voilà last music is playing. On Deezer, I have to wait ~5s (not counting the app startup).

But maybe you’re misunderstanding my problem, and I’m in the wrong feedback (just realized that the OP never mentions that his/hers last song does or does not display). What happens is: when I open the app (web version), the pop music shows up at the start and then my last music show up. There’s a considerable amount of delay there.
Same problem here, i really hate this, and it shows only tracks, styles and artists that i really hate and will never listen in my life, some times you start and put play via Bluetooth device and its start one of these shi** tracks, and mess-up my suggestions and i have a bad time training my profile again to suggest only things i maybe will like…
No problem if the app sugest sponsored tracks, but at last it should be in the interest segments, styles and things the user may like, not any cursed non consensual “music”… 4 years from the original post… the company don’t give attention...
This happens even if you mark the song as "Do not recommend this track".
It seems Deezer developer doesnt really matter, it's really annoying the first recommendation when I really hate the song and singer style
