Problem updating downloaded playlist

Android Premium subscriber imported several playlists and downloaded them to device for Offline playback. User then logged onto website via PC and edited those playlists ( added some tracks, deleted others ). When User then views those playlists on Android device, some but not all of the new tracks have downloaded ( even after 3 hours on Wi-Fi ) and most of the deleted tracks are still on the device playlist. WHY DO THE PLAYLISTS NOT SYNCHRONIZE AUTOMATICALLY, AND HOW CAN THEY BE FORCED TO UPDATE CORRECTLY? Please do not make the foolish suggestion to uninstall, reinstall, delete playlists, reinstall playlists, blah, blah, blah. That will take HOURS and is NOT why I have paid for a Premium Subscription.

Hello @DweezelTweezer

When you download music offline you only download it in the app ON THE DEVICE.

Downloads are not transferable, you have to download on each device.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. I’ll try to use small words.

  1. I created a Premium listener account on Deezer by going online from my PC
  2. I downloaded and installed the Deezer desktop app on my PC
  3. I imported several playlists from other music streaming services into my Deezer account
  4. I downloaded and installed the Deezer mobile app on my single Android device
  5. I logged into my account on my mobile device and downloaded those playlists to my device so that I could listen to them in OFFLINE mode ( which is why I paid for a Premium account in the first place )
  6. I then accessed those playlists via the Deezer desktop app on my PC and edited some of them - adding tracks to some, deleting tracks from others, and also created a NEW playlist from scratch
  7. I went back to my mobile device and then downloaded that NEW playlist
  8. I attempted to listen to those playlists in OFFLINE mode, and received an error message stating that I had to be ONLINE to listen to those tracks
  9. Only by going through EACH track on EACH playlist on my device and looking for the green check mark that signifies that a track has been successfully downloaded ( and not finding it in many cases ) did I begin to conclude that the playlists on my device were not being updated or synchronized or whatever you want to call it, with respect to the edited playlists as they appear on the desktop app
  10. Some, BUT NOT ALL of the tracks I added from the desktop app were added to the playlist on my mobile device
  11. Most ( but not all ) of the tracks that I deleted from the edited playlists on my desktop app were STILL on my device
  12. However, many of the tracks that WERE added to the playlists on my mobile device did not ACTUALLY download to my mobile device , as evidenced by the lack of the green check mark, and the error message that stated I could only listen to those tracks while ONLINE
  13. My sad, angry, frustrating conclusion is that I will probably have to delete all of the content that I downloaded to my mobile device ( which took over 96 HOURS while on a high-speed Wi-Fi network ), uninstall and then reinstall the mobile app, and try to again download the content of the playlists from my desktop app ALL BECAUSE THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE THE CONTENT ON MY MOBILE DEVICE TO MATCH THAT IN MY ACCOUNT AS EDITED OR CREATED IN THE DESKTOP APP. Nor, after nearly a month of trying to get Deezer Customer Service to address the issue, does there appear to be a one-button solution to manually update or synchronize said content.
