Yes please, I want to select and listen to only one album or playlist and then stop. Please.
If you're referring to the track mix that launches at the end, thank you very much for your feedback! But please do confirm if this is happening when casting. The teams are actually looking into improving this and I've just forwarded your comments @Placido09 @Fahnjim
I'm not sure what 'casting is. For me it is happening when I get to the end of the track or album I have been listening to. This is streaming onto my my Android phone (Samsung S9).
Thank you for paying close attention to feedback, this is very highly appreciated.
This feature as the title of the thread suggests is called Autoplay in Spotify. It is accessed in the mobile app under home/settings/autoplay
Thanks for coming back @Fahnjim @Placido09
For casting, it's been looked into but it might take some time before development. Just because the teams are working on different things at the same time - we're a small company.
For the Android track mix, the teams got the feedback and will discuss this in the meantime, to figure out how to move forward with a better feature
Hi @Rudi ,
I get the same issue when I use Deezer on Sonos with Alexa. Specifically, when I request Alexa to play an Album (Deezer is set as my default music streamer), a Deezer playlist starts playing when the album concludes.
Would this fall under ‘casting’ or ‘android track mix’ or is it another issue altogether?
My kids use deezer to get to sleep and I would really appreciate to somehow stop the device playing sound all night.
Yes, this bothers me a lot. Deezer should work like a classic player. I choose what I want to play. Then I don't want something else that I don't want to start playing automatically. This feature should be optional as Autoplay on Spotify but not by default.
I agree it should be optional too @Placido09 but certain devices that option hasn't been developed yet.
@maczac @teregosa your feedback is equally precious, I've been discussing this with our devs.
@teregosa when it comes to Alexa, it's part of the skill, so neither casting nor Android. I personally like this option on my Echo, but I totally get it when you want to set the music to sleep.
In the meantime, this is my workaround, you pair your phone with the Echo. Then, you cast the music you want via the Deezer app (Bluetooth casting) and then you use our brand new sleep timer to switch that off automatically. That could be useful to you too @maczac
The same issue here on Win10 desktop.
Please make it possible to play one album only when the user chooses to play one album.
It’s quite annoying that Deezer decides on its own to play more songs that I actually don’t want to listen to.
Thanks in advance for fixing this :-)
Hey @Francesco77
Thanks for reaching out. In the Desktop app, it's easier.
Open your queue-list and scroll all the way to the bottom. Once there, toggle off the automated recommendations. Let us know how it goes!
Hi Rudi and thanks for your reply.
I found the toggle switch at the end oft the queue-list. Thanks for that :-)
Maybe it’s a good idea to put this switch somewhere else (maybe in “setting” or “prereferences” or so).
Since I never used the queue-list-view before it was impossible to find it without your help.
BTW: The little “back” button (<) does not always work as excpected in the desktop app. I did not find out yet in which way exactly but sometimes it has not function at all or it is stuck in a kind of loop.
It would be nice if this button would bring the user back exactly to the previous visited pages.
Hey @Francesco77
Amazing feedback, this is what we need!
Yes, I'll pass on your suggestion to move the button elsewhere. Since you're using Deezer on a desktop, the queue is essential, don't forget that!
About the navigation buttons, please update the app to 4.32.1 where we fixed this
Keep me posted!
RE the navigation button -- the back button does not work in the Mac app.
RE the navigation button -- the back button does not work in the Mac app.
Have you updated the app to the version where it is fixed?
Well, I was responding to the post that said it was fixed in 4.32.1, and my version is 4.33.1. So if they fixed in one, they broke it in the next.
We didn't break it @KWH but yes, it reoccured. Apologies for that.
We're preparing major updates to the desktop app so this issue doesn't happen again. I just need to ask you for your patience, we'll get there soon!

I just opened a Thread with pretty detailed Idea, how I think this would be more Intuitive. As I understand it people run into “Casting” without knowing they do. And it seems like the “Auto-Play” is already optional in Desktop, then I’m basically asking to integrate that Switch for Mobile-Apps too :)
https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas/auto-play-as-option-more-control-and-more-intuitive-handling-of-the-queue-70266
Please vote for the idea, everyone!
Thanks a lot for being detailed with your suggestion @TurtlePurple this is super important for our devs to understand how to improve these features in the near future
I turned this automated suggestions feature off and somehow it’s back on. 100% dealbreaker.
Nothing ruins the vibe like some commercial garbage playing out of nowhere.
Sorry about that @Riverglass
Where is that happening? When you play a song from Search results? Is this on the desktop app?
Please give us a bit more info, we should be able to help.
Very simple request. I never, ever, want to hear anything that I haven’t hit play on or added to the play queue. No matter where I start playback from. I use desktop and mobile. How do I configure settings to achieve this?
Thank you for looking into this, I’d like to make Deezer my primary lossless steaming platform (I’ve used them all, and will be a lifetime subscriber of the ideal service), but I’ll have to look elsewhere if this is not an option in the interface.
How is it that sometimes there is not a simple “play this song next” queue? Why am I sometimes not presented with an option to place the new track at the front or end of the existing queue?
Also, a very minor thing I noticed on the MacOS desktop app is that there is no (command + , ) shortcut to get to settings like most other apps generally have. That would be a nice easy addition.
