Hello,

currently I’m testing the deezer app on my samsung Xcover5 Android 12

but there is a flaw that if this flaw will remain It will make me go back to spotify:

If I close the Deezer-App with “the close all apps” button  the app won’t close!

The app is still playing music!

Hey guys this is a NO GO!!  consuming battery when I forced eveything to terminate

Is Deezer a hard to kill hard to remove virus or a normal app??

This is an issue for more than 4 years now.

Do think it is a good marketing strategy to force everybody to tap on pause ???

Hello @StefanL38, it is not a bug, this is by design.

To close the app, you have to stop the music and  then close the app.

If you do not stop the music, it keeps playing in the background.

Aha. So you want to say you follow this microsoft-philosophy

    it’s not a bug it’s a feature?

Then I want to make a suggestion:

    You should add an option:

“terminate App if system sends a terminate-request”

or whatever the internal process might be

“normal” apps including your competitor Spotify  stop playing the music if I terminate the app

by wiping upwards or by tapping “close all apps”

    best regards Stefan
