Of course it's something to be fixed. Eight months of feedback in this one thread alone, and there are others with different titles that describe the same problem. It's not a random selection and that's what it's sold as. How can you be.so complacent?
As a paying user I expect my full list of favourites to be played completely randomly so that I can enjoy the service I'm paying for and hear all the songs I've selected. Presumably you have a product backlog and your devs are delivering in fortnightly sprints. Can you confirm whether this user story or something like it, exists in the backlog and whether it is considered something that should be prioritised as something that diminishes your minimal viable product? If so, it shouldn't take longer than two weeks to deploy a fix and seriously, how hard can it be to code an algorithm like this?
