Android automatically resample every audio source into 16/48khz. Which means that an exclusive mode does help getting a cleaner mp3 output as well as a cleaner flac from the HIFI tier. I clearly hear the difference playing an Mp3 file from the inbuilt music player vs the same on UAPP (which sadly don't support Deezer yet). The file ends up being cleaner and more true to what we expect from a high quality Mp3 at 320kbps. However, it also shows how good or how bad your audio equipment can be. Exclusive mode can be a double side sword depending on the usage and equipment quality. Weirdly, it happens that basic mp3 sounds better than flac, if your equipment isn't optimized for lossless audio.
Same here, I’m currently a HiFi subscriber at Tidal, would love to switch over to Deezer Premium and the lack of USB DAC support is a blocker for me. Voted already. Will monitor both threads. Thanks. Hello Christophe, deezer premium streams at 320 kbps in mp3 format, might I ask why you shouldn’t be able to enjoy it fully without usb dac support? unless hifi is included in your case? G Deezer Premium do include HIFI in most countries.
