The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉
@Gutty that is abolutely not true. apart from some good pints in apple music they are everywhere bad. i cannot see that spotifys library management is better than deezers.
Hmmm?! I don’t think that going the way of Spotify and other services by linking favourite songs, albums and artists together is a good idea. It is not really what i expect to be a good library. I advocate to regard that three sections as three libraries with different functions: In favourite artists i want to have that few artists that i really love - the same with favourite songs. An example to the latter one: I am not a fan of an artist and i don’t like his discography, but maybe just one song for whatever reason. Or i discovered an unknown song from an unknown artist and want to rember/keep it. I don’t want to see that artist in the favourite artists section and also i am not interested to see the album in its corresponding section - at least at that point. In the favourite albums tab however i want to build my big collection as a music lover: that section at least in my case is by far the biggest one. I think that is THE reason to keep that three sections separated. I
Rudi Are the devs going to implement the replaygain standards which differentiate between albumgain and trackgain? In my eyes that differentation is important. If i hear my album collection the albumgain would make more sense whereas in mixes, in flow or in playlist the trackgain is a better choice. Regards!
RoobyDoobie I am totally fine with favourite artist and tracks being independent from albums. They should stay what they are. On the other hand it is the albums tab that needs more love. Actually it is the place where i want to build up my collection. Grouping by date and artist would indeed be the the first step. But just that would make handling of a big album collection much easier. just imagine what possibilities you have by combining grouping and sorting of albums. so let's hope.
It is such a pain in the ass to keep track of your collected albums when you have a little more than just a small collection: you got an endless list to scroll. I don't want to ask here for personal tagging (genre, mood and so on). That happened so far in other threads. Rather than that let me ask for a simple feature that uses the information the deezers catalogue anyway have: date and artist! Feature request is: I would like not only to sort the album list by original release date but especially would like also to group the albums by date and artist. Some examples: Grouping by artist and sorting by release date gives you a list of all artist and opening an artists node shows you the releases in order of release date. That would make managment of albums much easier without putting much effort in more complex features.
