A new Flow wheel has just appeared!

Flow is getting better!

A new flow wheel has just been released, to match your mood even more!

This wheel will now display up to 32 new music genres created just for you! You'll have a daily view of just 6 of them, based on the genres you've listened to the most. And your wheel will be renewed every day to adapt to your listening.
Another addition to the next generation Flow is the ability to choose how your endless mix is composed, be it with a majority of  favorites or new discoveries.

What are these new genres?

Afrobeats, alternative, ambient, brazilian funk, French music, classic, EDM, drill, electro, folk, forro, gospel, house, jazz, K-pop, latin, LoFi, metal, MPB, oldschool, pop, rap, reggae, reggaeton, R'n'B, samba, acoustic, soul, techno, trap, variety and zouk!

To access it, you will need the following Deezer app versions (and above):

iOS: 9.41.0
Android: 7.0.33.7

Great! How to play flow mood on Alexa?

I tested the new flow with settings "Metal" and "More favorites".
Flow started persistently with music that doesn't have much to do with metal.
Skipped everything.
Flow was probably offended and suddenly switched to brute metal, ear-damaging with sounds that could not be called vocals.
Disliked everything.
After a few hours, the generated flow is not good but at least listenable.
Favorites, however, there are as good as none, despite the appropriate setting.
Before the change I got a good mix, now unfortunately no more.
I hope this will improve in the next coming days.

Great! How to play flow mood on Alexa?

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Throw out your Echo devices.
  2. Replace with Sonos speakers.

Easy peasy!

@GropplerZorn

I like your approach. Salad tastes best when you leave out the vegetables and replace them with meat.

The algorithm doesnt target the right flow, maybe because you have set your artists who you dont click on or listen to, or loved songs where your mood or heart didnt sit right.

Do you think the recommended songs are up to par compared to the rest? Because I've noticed that the music it plays for me isn’t quite what I'm in the mood for. The concept is nice, but the music selection should be more finely tuned based on users' habits, listening history, and patterns.
