Just hit 2000 songs on one of my playlist with plenty more coming. Guess I have to make a new playlist now… This is not the most convenient solution.

Another vote for this. I have a number of playlists that are at 2k tracks, and duplicating playlists isn't really solution.

Does any one know if this limit applies when importing songs from other services? I was going to import my liked songs from Spotify via Tune My Music but that contains 14k songs...

Hello there, yes this will apply on imported music too!

Bummer. Thanks

I have playlist of 5000+ songs. I wanna try Deezer but this stops me from doing so. And crossfade still missing on desktop.

Other than Apple Music, what other service streams in CD or better quality and allows over 2000 songs in a playlist? (And ya, I love that Deezer allows 10 grand in the fav’s).

I have 2000 numbers in my playlist and I like a lot more numbers and honestly I am a little irritated about the fact that I can't add more numbers to my playlist.

Adding my two cents. I have a few playlists that act as catch-alls for similar genres so I can slam them on shuffle and listen to songs I consider to be related in that way. Deezer’s auto playlists (flow, mixes, etc) are no good at all in my opinion. I would prefer to have my own large (at least 10,000, although I wonder if these arbitrary limits are necessary at all), personally curated playlists so that I don’t get any unwanted surprises.

For those considering transferring from other platforms I can tell you that your playlist will be split into multiple numbered playlists on import, so you won’t lose anything except unavailable tracks.

What other platforms allow 10K songs in a playlist, as well as 10K or more songs total, and offer at least CD quality streams?

Respectfully, I don’t believe it’s helpful to compare Deezer to other services as an excuse not to increase an arbitrary limit. To answer your question, I had larger (5000+ tracks) playlists with Spotify, I don’t see how sound quality is relevant.

But I happen to prefer the sound quality of Deezer over that of Spotify, and even more dramatically Sirius/XM. When playing the same release of the same track on those different services I can notice a difference in quality of sound. So for me, that is a factor to consider, in addition to playlist sizes.

Please increase the playlist limit from 2000 to 10000.
